Couldn’t agree more , the market rarely reacts logically but I think it’s great we are being kept in the loop on such a regular basis. They are clearly very excited about Porvenir.
Would like some detail on Blanca and La Hueca too.
Tons to come here including appointments to the board , PFS , more permits etc etc

A few weeks back I think NM mentioned a few additional board members in the fairly near future , be interesting to see which area they cover and which companies they have previous ( or current) associations with ?

Maybe they will drag the PFS out way longer than we think . In November they could well still be saying 2-3 weeks, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing whilst all the while they are proving up other targets. In this case the inevitable delays caused by Covid may well play into their hands much to the frustration of CGP ....., shame :)

My money in Newcrest too , but I think CGP is about all they can afford . Their interest is then substantial but hopefully NM will still have BHP onside and hold sway

Drilling operations underway at La Hueca Project utilising one man-portable drill rig. Initial drill hole LHD-20-001 at current depth of 91m. This hole is designed to test depth extent of outcropping porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum mineralisation at Santos-Lindero Zone, La Hueca Target 6.

Problem is it’s incredibly difficult to extract and separate.

Just a reminder of what we knew previously

“Teams conducted extensive stream sediment and panned concentrate sampling throughout the La Hueca project. The geochemical results of this work delineated 5 porphyry copper targets situated along the contact between the Zamora batholith and volcanic units. The results delineate a copper rich porphyry corridor running through the La Hueca project.

Target 6 has returned strong copper, gold and molybdenum anomalism over a large area 1.25km by 1.0 km. The discovery is significant due to k-feldspar, secondary biotite, and chlorite-sericite hydrothermal alteration intensity, and the presence of chalcopyrite, molybdenite and bornite. B-type quartz veins are also present at variable density. Geochemical high Cu-Mo results are significant (Table 2), and they are dispersed over an extensive area.“

Jason W also said yesterday , starting 3rd drill at La Hueca but he couldn’t comment as results “hadn’t been released yet” ..... must mean they have them.
I guess you could make both a positive and a negative argument for the delay , but there’s definitely loads in the pipeline..... not forgetting PFS could drop at any moment.

I was sort of hoping that if , as expected, the CGP offer was turned down ( as proved to be the case) Nick would release some huge results just to rub their noses in it . We are all expecting big things from Rio / Porvenir so something big from Blanca or La Hueca would have caught people on the hop

Ha you’ll always get that sort here. To be fair I’m probably way off the mark as usual. Actually I was saying that if there were to be another placing I think it would almost certainly be at a decent premium.
Anyway I know I’ve never been anything but positive here , some clueless knob accusing me of deramping simply makes me chuckle
