Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Yes Jeremy you're right, irrational/panicked thinking on my part. Nevertheless, I was well over 100% up so Ive managed to take a little profit and my initial off the table. Happy to just wait and see from here.
watched that video and pussied out sold half my investment so im riding for free now
Thought we’d see a nice rise with isa allowances resetting, let’s see how the rest of the week pans out. Holding
Boomvanderboob, the point was the news makes one nervy - I cannot prove or disprove the news it is what we are unfortunately force fed morning to night. Furthermore, I'm not as sophisticated an investor as you give me credit for, manipulation of message boards is not why I'm here, I want to make money like all of us do. My original comment was too sentimental for a stock message board, I understand that - so let's draw a line under it and get back to 'business'. Good day to you in turn.
Fair point. Will revert to my position as a voyeur.
So sorry for reacting to a story about a mother being raped multiple times in front of her son after her dog and husband were shot in front of her. Oh my what a naughty boy I am, signalling all this virtue to a bunch of strangers on a message board. Walking around with my head held high today, now that everyone in here things im a good person. I WASN'T VIRTUE SIGNALLING, I WAS EXPRESSING AN OPINION. By simply having an open position I am not expressing any over the top moral correctness, it is a point of conversation and im sure others feel the same. I was simply making a point that it is a difficult share to hold for me personally, although I'm not morally correct enough to sell up and move on.
Lefty ****!? People are getting killed mate wtf is wrong with you. Left, right or straight, death of innocent people should evoke some kind of emotional reaction. Especially in an age where the media/news is 24/7 aided by sophisticated technology.
If I wasn’t loaded to the gills, yes id agree and call it virtue signalling. Since I am invested, and I’m not trying to put anyone off the opportunity I think that your comment is a little rich. I just wanted to share a thought while I was sitting in the garden waiting for my dog to do his business around how investing in this stock can make one feel.
Is not good for my anxiety, damn some of these stories from bucha are brutal. Bring a tear to my eye. But the rational bit of my brain focussed on investing, convinces me that poly won’t be punished indefinitely for the atrocities being committed by Putin. Overall, really terrible and can’t lie, I do feel some guilt trying to profit off Russian stocks. Need to try not to let emotions get in the way because this is a fantastic opportunity, to do that think I need to steer clear of the news!
for the filter button, was getting a headache scrolling through all that ******ks
NVAX went a whopping 33 years without a single approved shot, in this time the SP held between $30 - £70 with the mcap staying over 0.10Billion in this time, today it's chillin at 5.6billion. Just an example (not like for like I know) that biotech stocks factor in potential first, then sales
EVR demerger cancelled, can only be a good thing for SP. Expect to see a nice bump in poly once new ISA allowances kick in.
Im not taking profit, im making the point that the succulent big fat divi is on the table for now. I thought you said risk was subjective? My holding is substantial, so buying more now wouldn't make much difference at this point as I have substantially more £ in Poly than I have £ in the bank. But if it were to dip low enough, I would certainly consider selling some other positions for a topup.
THE DANGLING CARROT DIVI
What you’re doing with your bearish short term view / long term price predictions Oranje is no different from me being bullish. We are simply different sides of the same coin, as you say risk appetite is different for everyone, so both of our opinions on this can be taken subjectively. Investing in its very nature is a gamble, how much of a gamble is based on weighing up the risk to you personally. If you are living hand to mouth, fair enough don’t take a punt. If you are have a couple hundred k spare, why not risk 10% in poly because it’s as good as you’re going to get r/r
