Blencowe Resources: Aspiring to become one of the largest graphite producers in the world. Watch the video here.
When a company enters a comp agreement with an exiting member of staff, it is the legal requirement that the company pays the legal fees of the person departing up to a reasonable level, so that's where the £3k comes in.
As you say though bizarre he can take up a role in a competing company while still in his notice period!
Hadnt looked at share price in a few weeks and just seen the proposed share issue/funding round. Although its a shame to see a lower share price, at least doing a big round of funding rather than messing around with £1m or so at a time, means BEM may have the funds to actually get Kallak sorted.
For those who havent seen there is a new article on BBC titled Reindeer herders fear arctic industry boom - and in the article Jokkmokk, Greta Thunberg and Beowulf are all mentioned. Interestingly the Sami point in the article is that they already have forestry and hydropower industry in the area, so dont want a mine as well- seems a pretty poor argument, as I am sure they didnt kick up as much of a fuss for those industries when locating in the area. Nicely it mentions the fact locals do want the mine to stop the shrinking of the town, and allow growth/jobs to the area.
Hi guys,
I seem to remember with the Finland project a few years ago Graphene being mentioned. Any idea if this is still the case or if we are looking at graphite only?
There is an article about the potential huge benefits of Graphene in building projects on BBC News today if you search for it (I wont post the link as doesn't usually work!)
Article suggests mixing 0.1% graphene with concrete increases its strength so much you can use loads less concrete in building, and has potential to cut worldwide Co2 emissions by 2-3% alone.
I've just got home from hospital with our newborn son this morning, let's hope for a yes to add to the fab news!
Agree a strong letter from Kurt.
I cant believe Thor is now saying its complex, its only complex because he is letting a very minor disruption to a small herd of reindeer, and Greta of course, make it a complex decision. Surely when its weighed up its got to go ahead.
Just found them now in my online account thank you!
So at 1:1 my 3million shares could potentially be worth quite a nice amount!
I know there is some potential on these to grow now with current investments, but when i expected £0 back, its difficult to turn down that sort of number!
Whats everyone elses thoughts - holding or selling?
Hi everyone. With regard getting shares in Ritorno for our shares previously held in Concha, was it a 1:1 placement?
With the mid market price at 0.7p i am thinking if it was a 1:1 i may speak to my broker (HL) and look to cash these in. I know there could be potential but after so many years of nothing and thinking my shares are worth nothing, it may be worth getting "something" for them!
Was thinking the same myself - not sure when it will begin trading again. My guess was on accounts being ready and also the deal voted for actually being completed - so maybe later this or next month??
I don't think any offer by TVFB has been received by ESL which is the issue.. If they had an offer even if they thought not acceptable then they would have to mention it.
I notice they mention the banks are not willing to give the payment holiday/waiver on the covenant testing if fundraising is needed either - so as Tinkler needs to raise funds as part of his offer (that hasn't actually been made to ESL) - surely that leaves us with the single option?
Agreed no other offer on the table from Tinkler - its all talk and no action so far.
Very good choice to give shareholders option to participate in the PIK loan - bit of an incentive to accept the offer.
My calc on future share price was way out as well sorry!! I think the 5-7p range will be spot on when we reopen on this.
Issue with Wincanton is ESL will have been very careful with info provided to them. They are a main competitor, and frequently in this type of situation numerous times competitors come in to "make a bid" but in fact are just gathering as much info to try and take the business away.
I know the Dbay offer isn't great, but think its better we get 30-40p share value after reopening, rather than 0p in event that dbay offer was rejected? I cant see Tinkler coming in with an actual bid now personally.
Not posted on here in a while but just had email off HL to state about the conversion. Wonder if my 3 million shares will be worth more than a coffee at Starbucks!
Mine have auto converted but not showing any value yet - do we have any idea when a value will appear against them?
I'm happy that the rise from earlier this week is holding steady. Everyone needs a few days to relax after the madness, then we can start again Monday to see if its on the next agenda! As you say it will get on there eventually, and if we can hold at a nice level and gradually move up as this happens that would be great!
GLA and have a nice weekend!
Even if they did a fundraise for 1.5m, that's 3% dilution of shares only, so you would expect a 3% drop in SP to compensate
If SP is where it is now on the date they fundraise - that's only 1/3rd of todays gain, and if the extra funding is needed to assist in exploration and obtaining the license at Kallack etc then I don't see an issue
Hi guys,
Long time since ive posted, been reading all the comments all the way through though! But now things seem to be moving, I thought I would get back in on the action.
Just done a dummy sell and was offered 7.1p on HL so sell prices do appear to be above the "official" bid price at the mo! Lets hope this continues for a bit!
News article on BBC today about concrete which mentions research going on about adding graphene to concrete - it makes it 4x more water resistant and twice as strong - meaning that they may be able to put waste plastics into concrete instead of into landfill
With the Finland project lets hope the quality is as good as it appears to be based on all the tests BEM have carried out so far, and lets hope the Finn's don't have such a protracted mining license system as their neighbours Sweden! - and if so we may see the price of graphite go up with its multi uses!
I have just done similar and topped up to a nice round number of shares in my SIPP! I still have confidence in Kurt and Beowulf, and the price drop is too high for the 5.3% dilution in shares. in fact on the atkie the price has dropped 5%, so the right amount in theory, whereas our market has dropped 15% on a 5% dilution!
My 2 million shares are worth about 600. Feel like no point selling - may as well hold onto them just in case something happens!
