Final short sitting at 0.55% could help by buggering off.
I use short Europe plus fca shortlist which is updated at close of play, does anyone else use something else to understand the shorts entry position? Short Europe state 108.26 however they have had a short position even before we got above £1!?
I agree the order will be huge but have seen so many different order tables and they vary drastically and also some stating half ordered now and half at a later stage as I think air India are going through a merger/ takeover and awaiting for funds from above.
Fingers crossed. I’ve ridden long enough to know that it’s just not plain sailing with RR but I guess that’s the stock market nowadays.
Re cost cutting - middle management always needs to be trimmed but key workers & engineers are so valuable it’s great to see RR looked after them which drives loyalty and pride in workforce.
Anyone else feeling 50/50 about results being announced?
I was soo pro RR until the CEO kamikaze ( which can be seen as a good thing re gets to start a fresh) the Indian order which is about as later as last nights takeaway, uk govt 12 month delay on smr.
Positives - China is all but unlocked, higher servicing = more income, new tech flights working and an agile yet pro active take on change.
Thoughts?
I lie - I’m 60/40 positive. :)
Don’t worry new chapter - you get accused of lots on here if you have less than a couple thousand meaningless posts.
I would done the same re your post and fully understood it was a question posed rather than a statement and if people are unable to work the difference then let’s be honest their opinion doesn’t matter.
Why? When wholesale gas prices have come down from epic 300 per unit to now 50 per unit which is still higher than the average of 30 we are used to. Energy bills will start reducing shortly unless you are fixed.
They have already increased the amount available to struggling homes.
Also there is a difference between can’t pay and won’t pay.
A lot of them are majorly under water with the best one started at mid £5. Big fan of asos - just waiting to strike a buy as I see it heading south over the week of bad news.
But with so many positives this will fly especially with only 100m shares - any other views on short term direction

It updates each date but you will need to go to the fca website - Google fca short list and the link is in the blurb.
What does anyone else make of naya short position??? I’m looking and it’s closed - can anyone else get data to confirm this? I know they dropped below 0.5% reporting but if you look into naya short positions they show all even below 0.5
