Infra til an utilities co is in talks to buy Vod NZ for 1.8 b according to Oz press !

Whatever happens tomorrow, there has to be serious questions asked about Read and his board.

It wll be this year's dividends if they are cut. Read has said divi will be maintained so it will be a kick in the teeth for holders if he does cut. It's only press speculation anyway.

Divi cut SP willl fall due to investors selling. No divi cut SP will fall as vod seen as not being prudent. One thing that puzzles me is the very optimistic broker forecasts.!!. Am I missing something?

Sp has negative factors weighed in. When negative news appears sp drops further. It's a double edged sword.

Investors want a dividend cut to boost Sp by 30%. When there is a hint of a cut SP falls. Market has Vod by the balls. That saying you can't have it both ways doesn't work here.

Tuesday will probably see divi cut of 25%. Mast sales. Maybe NZ sell off. Then SP to rise to 180 Plus in 6 months. Agree ??
