The upside being at current prices

Redceo I do not know if your last comments were directed at me I have to admit I did post a lot of negative comments about Aviva previously as I was seriously underwater with my holdings having bought at the top well over 4 pounds and anyone would have been dissapointed with the losses what the future holds is uncertain for Aviva like a lot of companies unlike fakeland investor I am not a great ramper as he is well known for but I believe their is limited upside of between ten per cent to twenty per cent on a 12 months timeframe for all financial stocks banks and insurance companies but of course there is going to be a lot of volatility along the way

But in the case of Falkland investor he regularly posts on Lloyds chatroom claims to have nearly a million shares he is very bullish on this stock all the while the stock trades sideways at 30p for weeks he has very little credibility on the Lloyds board but continually posts bullish share price pedictions of 45p 2020 65p 2021 for Lloyds

Redceo you do not have to be invested in a particular share to post comments about that share in the case of aviva the share price performance has been terrible on a 1 year 2 year 3 year 4 year 5 year timescale I think the only people to have made money on this dog are people who bought sub 260p which it was trading for a few months I believe their is upside at the level I bought back in at 290p but already down a considerable amount I think we will know more on the update on August 6 if the share price does not rerate I might as well sell up then at a loss

I honestly believe this is the last chance to buy sub 30p today ftse100 has had a terrible week sucking on the teat of the dow jones and pessimism about getting a trade deal with the eu next week will surely be better and results I feel will be viewed favourbly by the market however bad they are but don't expect 40p by Friday lol

I missed out on the rise up to 300pence sold up much too early bought back in at 291p fomo at a higher price panicked when it went back down to 262p sold at 264p took a hit bought back in at 290p now at a higher price what has changed is the new CEO hoping she can bring change it makes no difference to me whether you believe me or other readers believe me the market is brutal at times a lot of people with large shareholdings who bought at the top a year ago 2 years ago are down significant sums on there investments even institutional investors would have bailed out at aviva around the 3 pound level having bought at the 5 pound level 2 years ago

Think I chose the wrong horse Falkland the banks doing much better than Aviva last few days

I am long on aviva having just bought back in at 290p losing shedloads on this dog from my original purchase well above 4 pounds

The honeymoon period for the new CEO did not last have serious doubts aabubout whether she can turn this slumbering giant around and increase shareholder value at the moment the market is still uncertain about her after the initial euphoria as evidenced by current share price weakness

A few weeks ago you gave price target Lloyds of 40p by Friday was around 30p price now 30p

Unemployment figures worst than unexpected in the usa causing dow jones to fall is it any wonder when the level of unemployment benefits in the usa are considerably higher than what people were earning in their previous jobs why the f*uck would these people look for jobs a bit like the situation in the uk where the teenage chancellor pays people 100 per cent and eighty per cent to stay at home no real incentive for people to go back to work and for teachers to go back to schools to teach children

Sucking at the teat of the dow jones

Dow Jones drops by over 300points today the ftse100 sucking at the test of the dow jones will duly fall tomorrow so looking at sub 30pence tomorrow will have to wait for the following Friday for 40p

The worrying thing is the dow jones is at a high level if it has a bad day this will get absolutely hammered

Ftse100 up Aviva in the top 20 fallers chart again normal service resumed

They can only pay dividends if there are any profits

People with serious wedge are not constantly boasting on chatboards about size of holdings
