CoinCollector ... Yep agree with you. I've not explained myself very well but you have got the point I was trying to make. Happily invested where I am but feel we all need to protect ourselves from the State.

Certainly not about to cash out and buy a myriad of other products controlled by the state or hold cash. Just don't think it's doable at this present time. I'm doing the same as most of us i assume; holding property, shares and several crowd funded investments. No ETF's at this time.

Value your comments DSFLAT. I'm 100% with you on that. My point was, everything currently is based on fiat as its base, maybe not MicroStrategy and other similar I am perhaps unaware of. For long term, say three to five years plus, I can't see where you'd hold liquid funds in a tax efficient manner outside the fiat system. Everything as I see it just dips back into fiat at the transaction point. Probably overthinking it.. Happy to stay heavily invested for the time being at any rate.

Would KR1 be an easier long term plan? Deffo not ramping; just offering my tuppence worth.. Although for clarity I do hold KR1 amongst many others..

DSFLAT.... Have you thought of a cunning plan when you eventually cash out? I'm really struggling and would like the brokerages to convert to BTC holdings or another suitable flavour of Alt. Problem (as I see it) at the moment is the lack of a tax wrapper along with the possibility the whole financial system collapses.. Scary thought.

Trading isn't for me as a LTH investor, however it's easily seen why so many are doing it when the share price movement is so painfully predictable. Unfortunately it's holding us back ATM....

I bought through (ii) at £49 broker fee plus trade. Others have said X-O is probably the best buy price at a flat fee of £5.95 I think or there abouts. For me I need this holding in my SIPP & ISA so a bit stuck with (ii) for now..

Was going to buy into KR1 a couple of months ago but the £49 additional cost put me off.... Stupid choice as I would have covered that many times over by now

Thank you francobrett... Took forever for the purchase confirmation to complete but has just come through. As others have said this is the proverbial: "needle in a haystack" ... We definitely need more exposure; I'll do my best to help out

Just paid 60p (SIPP) and yesterday 52p (ISA) yesterday.. With (ii) who charge a broker placement of £49 OUCH!
