Steve.... You need to do whats right for you and your family and if the holiday rules over say paying off your mortgage then that's the way to go. A compromise might be to top slice? Only you know your financial situation....

It is against the board rules to offer advice so asking for it is jeopardising others accounts. Just saying.

I think this is completely different as their launch was via a SPAC and lets face it SPAC's have taken quite a hammering since Nicola and other largely hyped EV related stock. It seems to be total confusion over on their board as there's also a conversion factor to take into account: something like 8 US shares equals 1 UK share. Definitely dropped though but may have been hyped heavily on Friday. Of course it may well improve as more brokers list it?

Hadn't realised JJP that you had a conversion factor to throw in. Sorry I'll stay stum..

The conversion is 1.39 so $15/1.39 is £10.87 less a little for FX

I'm seeing it on Yahoo Finance, currently $15.. Amazing if correct!

Thanks guys I'll give him feedback but really appreciate the comments.. Personally I'd have just called them and had the chat, I'm unsure where he got the information from. Hopefully ii will move to live trading soon for this stock..

So I use ii and am very happy with them, I have a friend who wants to ‘free-trade’ ... I’ve done all the hidden fee stuff already! He still seemingly doesn’t get it.
So I suggest he look into ‘X-O’ and he’s come back saying they have bad reviews regarding hidden charges including a £60 exit fee. Is this so in your experience?
My main reason for suggesting them was the ease of buying KR1 without the exorbitant broker only trade fee I pay ii and the no charge ISA. He’ll probably buy and hold long term so at £5.95 a trade it’ll be reasonably cost effective.
(In fairness he’s only investing between £5 & 10k so costs are important)
