There must be another exchange for "penny" shares surely?
AIM has hundreds of companies which fall below that.
We don't have a timeframe though it is moving along, albeit really slowly
Yes, but the pink market or whatever it's called, not it's final resting place.
And that, of course, depends on whether you feel it safe to put all your eggs in one basket ( - I admit I have at the moment).
A sensible investor would have a spread of investments, ideally across different sectors as well as companies.
Get -rich-quick merchants (aka gamblers) shove it all on the odds-on favourite, which sometimes falls at the last.
Accustem were given (iirc) £3m to tide them over while the unlinking from TILS took place. This is nearing completion.
A placing is inevitable as they need money to survive and develop/market the product.
What amount is reasonable is another matter, and what we feel is fair to those of us with free shares is yet another matter.
The thing we need to be mulling over is If you were offered a guaranteed number of shares according to your holding would you throw more of your hard-earned at it??
Have they gone into your ISA or a dealing account?
Must admit, for all their perceived failings, I don't agree with you there dunk.
They wouldn't be able to talk to a broker on an individuals behalf so they are asking the individual to, and are offering assistance if necessary.
That's my recollection
LOL that'd be about right.
btw , I assumed you used it as you said they were promoting their book on it :-)
Why don't you raise it on their Twitter? They won't like bad publicity...
I suppose this is progress of a sort. It seems to be to confirm stuff we already know
"This Current Report on Form 8-K is ... giving notice that Accustem Sciences Inc., ...(“New Accustem”), has become the successor issuer to Accustem Sciences Limited, a public limited company incorporated in England... (“Old Accustem”), ... Such succession occurred following the effectiveness, on December 1, 2021 ..., of a United Kingdom court-approved scheme of arrangement (the “Scheme of Arrangement”) in which (i) every 20 ordinary shares, £0.01 par value per share, of Old Accustem ... were exchanged for one share of common stock, $0.001 par value per share, of New Accustem ... and (ii) every 10 Accustem American Depository Shares (“ADS”) representing two Old Accustem Ordinary Shares were exchanged for one New Accustem Common Stock, which resulted in New Accustem becoming the holding company of Old Accustem."
There is some other related info such as
"New Accustem is authorized to issue 150,000,000 shares of common stock, $0.001 par value per share and 10,000,000 shares of preferred stock, $0.001 par value per share."
and other statements relating to the transfer. I'm not reproducing the whole lot here, if anyone wants to read it and see if there is anything else of significance the document is here.

I've started a partial transfer process from Willis Owen (who won't allow them) to A J Bell.
A J Bell asked me for the SEDOL then said they'd take them. it wouldn't entirely surprise me if they change their mind though.
The problem I have will Willis Owen is they can't tell me what WILL happen if I do nothing. I've been asking persistently since about March.
They did however say that I would be able to transfer them out, if I could find a provider.
I have over 19,000 of them and was hoping they'd be worth a bob or two but tbh they are now written well down in my portfolio. I don't think I'll be keeping them long but who knows? :-)
How would one contact this group please?
Seems AJ Bell will take them from me. I need to start the process. Thanks for the tip!!
(Let's hope they have some value...)
Sorry for the delay, been away for a few days. That is helpful and I will reply to AJB with it.
Bet I still get nowhere though!!
A J Bell's initial; response asked for the ISIN/SEDOL for the share, which it clearly doesn't have.
I am stuck with Willis Owen i think.
Anyway, pretty academic is they aren't worth much.
Hargreaves response - "Unfortunately, while Accustem is not listed on the NASDAQ we will be unable to support it or transfer into our platform."
Ta - asked for one.
