Let's face it guys, we've all been played big time over the last year or so.
The reference in the last rns to an update end April was quite deliberate as it allowed a definitive period of time for this to be sold into/shorted (with no fear of a surprise announcement in the interim) all with the sole objective of driving the price down and squeezing out pis, for the gain of others.
The only question worth asking AK is why he thinks so little of pis, many of whom have been here for 5yrs+ thinking we were investing in a little gem of a company run by individuals who would have all stakeholders interests at heart and not just the selfish interests of those in the inner circle. Unlikely the sp will move up from here for the foreseeable future until sufficient shares have been extorted from LTHs.
White collar invisible "crime" - the untouchables of the modern world. Abhorrent!
Last ever post on lse.
Gla genuine pis. Over and out.
Ok. Will make this my last post until April.
I think PC01 is wrong. As stated in my last post, I don't believe for one second that there is a large and persistent seller. Imo, there is a large and persistent buyer/buyers setting buy orders at lower and lower prices which is relatively easy to achieve in an environment where pi buying sentiment is temporarily absent.
The way I see it currently - I don't see it as cloak and dagger theory. Businesses generally don't like pis with too much influence and so my logic hinges on a desire by cap-xx to replace us with IIs & other preferred investors (rather than issuing diluting equity) as the company moves towards profitability.
Main deramping trolls have gone very quiet now, which suggests that despite being successful in lowering the sp (and killing off all new pi sentiment) they have largely failed in their main objective of getting LTHs to sell up. Even the orchestrated overdone drop since the interims has had little joy in shaking LTHs resolve as selling has been negligible.
So we're in a stalemate with the sp at a level that is probably as low as cap-xx directors and IIs would probably want it given their personal interests too, although it does give them a great opportunity for more shares. I genuinely believe that this has been played big-time (with the company aim of largely replacing pis with II investors) but has back-fired as not only have very few pis sold up during the sp drop but generally most remain optimistic for 2019 and beyond, and for sure Pi sentiment will return in the blink of an eyelid on news of anything half decent.
So for now, unless AK wishes to change things by releasing something positive then, because of the lack of pi sentiment, the mms will continue this pattern and buyers will continue to set buy orders lower each time, until AK finally reaches the conclusion that enough is enough. Personally, I don't see this dropping below the 5s, but sp is being driven/carefully controlled by a combination of background buy orders and "strategic sells"at the moment.
I continue to slowly accumulate for now with a final 0.5m pending being able to call 'the bottom' correctly, but in truth I'm not expecting any significant amounts being available at such time as when the bottom is reached it will turn very quickly.
That's my view but who knows. I've been on Aim long enough to know that most BODs are pleased to see the back of pis but will play us like fiddles until such time.
Will add just a few thousand more shares today. Limiting it to max 50k/week at the moment.
Aimo, good luck all genuine investors. Time for a break - no more posts until April. Anyone persistently hogging this bb (with no hard facts) just has hidden agendas in my eyes. I have one agenda - wanting to see this company grow and for all genuine investors to share in its success. It would be nice if Aim bods wanted the same rather than constantly playing the Aim game for self-serving reasons.
It was almost a certainty that the closer we got to the prize then the markets (aided by cap-xx silence) would come after LTHs shares. All the signs over the last year indicate major breakthroughs coming.
My nerves are fine. I'm holding for 2 yrs & continuing to top up regardless of sp shenanigans.
Lots of smoke and mirrors here.
Gla
Looks like the churn of shares from those in the dark to those in the inner circle continues unabated.
I firmly believe that AK has all the rabbits and hats. He just doesn't want pis to see the trick. That performance is for iis and his mates only.
.... that there's nothing left to say ... even the doom and gloom trolls have gone quiet. Nobody selling.
The MMs have backed themselves into a corner, so next move is with AK.
I don't recall one reference in any RNS over the last few years to "private investors" let alone a "thank you to private investors". Pis seem to be held in disdain by cap-xx. Happy to take our money when it suits them when they were promoting from the rooftops.
I think AK is telling us "It's time for you PIs to move over and hand your shares to the IIs, thank you boys and girls for your support but time to hand over to the professionals". So I guess we just hand them over just as he wants, to unblock this impasse.
Gla
AK has allowed this to be walked down and yet each time the lack lustre news is released loyal LTHs continue to show faith & keep accumulating.
As BenF said earlier, MMs are walking the sp down a cul de sac unless LTHs start selling in big numbers which is looking less and less likely. Perhaps some more timely wishy washy statements from AK will do the trick or are most LTHs now immune to this.
... to the markets that Cap-xx is the real deal. Once the pi initial sentiment to the RNS died down at 12ish PIs have been worked over and roughed up by the market as shares slowly but surely have been "extorted" from private investors. That's what happens when the markets spot a winner.
The way I see it, we have 2 choices:-
1) whinge about it on this bb (which plays into the hands of the trolls), or
2) keep topping up & hold
Clearly background buy orders are driving this pattern over recent months & I fully expect cap-xx directors to be filling their boots as they are completely in control of the sp. They want it at this level - says it all.
Think this roughing up will continue for a while in an attempt to break LTHs resolve - game on. I expect great news "shortly".
Aimo gla
Lol, AK wording of updates is quite deliberately as underwhelming as he can legally make it. Can't see this changing any time soon as it's now pretty clear he wants to keep pis in the dark and to keep the sp as low as possible for reasons pis can only speculate about.
So will wait for interims to pass before next round of topping up! Quiet accumulation remains the play - another 1m in the 6s would be nice.
Rest assured james - the surge will come.
As few LTHs are selling then MMs and others are in slow background accumulation mode. I've consistently been given buy quotes for a quarter of a million shares in one hit on many separate occasions over the last few months - says it all.
Slow patient accumulation remains the play at the moment imo wiith final big top-up when we think we've hit the low point - could be 7s, 6s or 5s even. Fingers on the button ready!
Gl
You get the feeling that many LTHs are currently watching like hawks trying to gauge the low point.
Based on previous patterns, once we hit it we're likely to get a huge surge of significant buying from IIs and Cap-xx employees too, so who will get the timing right?
Gla
The only thing LTHs are twitchy about is timing of the next top-ups ; there is nothing twitchy abouf their faith in the company's future - that's pretty obvious.
Everyone biding their time & remaining patient including the trolls who seem to have shown the most patience of all of us, lol.
As most LTHs are currently too twitchy to add to their holdings (and increase their averages) and there is nothing coming directly from cap-xx to attract new pi sentiment, the IIs are using the opportunity to increase their holdings. The recent trading patterns (few trades but regular large trades) indicates that some think this is the right time to be accumulating heavily - do they have the inside track?
Will those of us hoping to add more at a lower price come to regret this strategy? Time will tell.
Gl to all genuine investors. Wouldn't it be good to feel some real positive sentiment towards loyal long term shareholders by an Aim company - we can but hope - the future looks so rosy for cap-xx but does the bod genuinely want to see LTHs share in the success or would they prefer we were largely replaced by IIs + increased holdings for themselves? If the current trading patterns and news drought continues for weeks then I think you have the answer.
Businesses shout loudest when they are trying to get noticed - they stay silent when they have moved from 'talking the talk' to 'walking the walk'.
We all know that this share moves very quickly on anything remotely positive - AK could make any number of announcements almost at will if he wanted to talk the share price up but he is choosing not to at the moment.
So it is no coincidence imo that AK is very quiet now & meanwhile II accumulation continues quietly in the background. Draw your own conclusions!
With the knowledge they have and no pi sentiment to worry about, it is clear imo that Cap-xx directors are happy in the short term to just trade this on the open market at the moment & will be making good money doing so. They can keep this going indefinitely until positive pi sentiment returns which will only be on the back of the next positive news release, which cap-xx have complete control of.
Think we're stuck in the 7.5 - 9p region for the foreseeable future. Only topping up now if they take it below 7.5p. 0.5m more is my target but only at the right price.
Gla
I was wondering exactly the same thing P. Very curious.
I did refer to most serious investors seem to have concluded that this bb is now made up of posts mostly by trolls and cap-xx directors (the latter in reference to someone asking a few days ago who on here is Kongats). I also stated that AK could increase the sp in a blink of an eye, which I believe most pis would think is a fair reflection of where things stand. It seems AK is quite happy with the sp at this level. Why would this be - we can merely speculate.
I can't believe any pi has reported my post or your response. So, we are left to wonder who may have instigated this. Perhaps my comments were just a little too close to the truth - who knows - very intriguing!
I too will amend my strategy if I believe there to be good reason to do so. Currently, I see no reason to change my strategy - quite the contrary, it remains to keep accumulating at the right price.
GL
... by many, including directors. They can keep this going ad nauseam by hiding behind the "confidentiality clauses".
No longer watching this bb on daily basis as nobody here knows anything more than the next person - so this bb is wholly pointless currently - I suggest all genuine investors do the same and leave the bb to the trolls and the fraudsters to talk amongst themselves. There's nothing to say anymore just need to wait for newsflow. Only topping up now when it dips under my average. For reasons I cannot divulge, I remain more confident than ever but we're in a period where those in the know and closest to cap-xx can play this to suit their own self-serving selfish agendas.
The selling is negligible these days - LTHs sitting tight and still topping up on the dips. They'll have to drop this to the 5s to prise them from LTHs and even that may not work as this share always bounces on any significant drop.
See you in spring time. Expecting to have hit my target holding by then.
Gla
Pi confidence in Aim is shot, that's why nobody is buying, whereas confidence in cap-xx remains high which is why nobody is selling.
LTHs keeping their powder dry for now.
Another 0.5m shares would be nice, if the price is right. Suspect many LTHs thinking the same way.
Who is going to risk letting these golden tickets go in the hope of buying back? Not many it seems, if the last few weeks is anything to go by.
Gla
I think most serious investors here are long past the point of trading shares because of what os says.
Clearly the business is inexorably and undeniably moving in the right direction & cap-xx has to be careful of not overselling itself and not being able to service the resulting demand as all industries start to wake up to the sc potential. Such a mistake could be extremely detrimental to its place in the market. So slowly and surely is fine by me, partnered with leading companies all adding crucial support to the slow and steady growth of cap-xx. I 'm extremely relaxed about the future.
The only thing I ask myself is whether there is something we're unaware of that could completely pull the rug from under us? I just don't see it and as said before I don't see the current ip disputes affecting the longer term future of Cap-xx. If they continue to keep/attract the best people then they will stay world leaders and will continue to develop new world leading products that industries will want.
Possibilty of being bought out in the future but that would be acceptable to shareholders as would only be done for fair price.
So it's still all about accumulating at the right price. Would be nice to have 1% like PC01.
