I can't believe that it hasn't moved here yet, how slow are the markets!
I've just got another 10k at 11.8 as that seems cheap now that $20k has been broken, time will tell if this is the jump we have been waiting for.

It is so odd holding ARB, all instincts tell you to sell when you are up by XX% however there is still so much more to come here. The results due this week and the imminent rise of BTC over $20k are more than enough to keep me all in here for a few more months to see where this settles as it is sure to be higher than where we are today.

Is there any reason why the spread is massive today? I don't think that I've seen it this big on here before.

I was on about ARB but typed VELA haha I was typing what I was reading sorry.

It is a shame that they have no longer got a holding in VELA, typical that it has come alive since they have exited. Thankfully a few of the LTHs here are in there and reaping the rewards.

This might be a stupid question but what impact will this have on the company?

I would take that but I fear there may be a drop before any rises here, I would love to be wrong though! I'm heavily in here and ARB, it is nice to feel semi secure in these uncertain times with these two.

How are people seeing the week ahead?
I'm in pretty deep here already however I've got a bit more capital to move around if needed. I can't see many shares doing well in the coming weeks/months however I feel pretty positive about VELA so would be interested in hearing peoples thoughts after the lockdown announcement.

Sorry to maybe ask a stupid question but what does this mean? Why would they have orders at those prices when the current price is so much cheaper?

Don't forget the other investments that VELA has. I'm very happily invested in ARB as well as VELA, they are flying along today as well! It isn't a massive holding there but almost 20% up today and rising fast isn't to be overlooked.

Do you guys feel that there is a danger of a takeover if the price is this low? Surely it has to be on the radar of bigger players as it is literally printing money each month if the btc price keeps rising.
The other option is, does the company start using the money to buy back shares if it stays so low?

Another great day for ARB, I don't think that I've ever felt so comfortable about one of my investments before. I wonder if the board see an opportunity to buy back shares as they have good consistent revenue and the share price seems very cheap?

This isn't a deramp, it is just a realistic view of a company that has been in decline for a long time.
The stake in ARB is the lifeline and should come off but if that is all that we can hold onto then you are better off investing directly in ARB.

I called them and they gave me the same answer, they couldn't give a timescale on how long it would take either.

Unable to buy any on HSBC atm, annoying as I went on to top up this morning and they aren't allowing buys but are happy for me to sell. No top ups for me anytime soon!

Thanks for the reply, that is significantly more than I have here. Does that make up a large % of your portfolio or is there a limit to how much you would have in one share? I'm also excited to see where crypto ends up and I'm happy to be here for the journey! It would also be nice to find a couple of other companies that are on the same path as I think my biggest fear here is that someone buys the company before we peak.

As the price is slightly static around these levels atm I would be interested in what exposure people have to this share? I'm a very casual investor with limited funds so I'm technically all in on ARB but the figures are low for me. Due to the massive upside potential it would be interesting to hear how other, more experienced, investors position themselves with a share like this?

I thought that there would be a nice bounce this morning with the jump in values overnight, odd that there wasn't a correlation here as well

ZEC is flirting the with $100 mark again, that would be a great barrier to break seeing as less than a month ago that it was comfortable at the low $50s. Genuinely excited to see where this ends up

Oddly I'm not that fussed if it does drop today/tomorrow, just creates a good buying opportunity for those of us who believe in the future here
