As soon as investigations concluded and rightly so. Honesty issue there. Bans been lifted bod change around and deals have come in so far thick and fast.

New bod reputation cant be held against old bod decisions.

All the major HR and execs are really pushing the recruitment PR.

They are about to go into a full recovery as a company. Covid smashed 90% of these businesses in energy sector. Money got tight people redundant. But it doesnt change the outlook and covid can not be a reason to blame performance. It was everyone.

A dividend policy would be none existing if they didnt have future to scope to use it again.

It was cut due to pandemic which is sensible it doesnt mean when balance sheet allows they wont be reinstate it.

Moreover in 2017 petrofac had net debt of 1.1bil so this isnt the first rodeo PFC have had with debt and it didnt go 'bust' then and was paying dividends at the time orderback log $18bil. Vs now $500mil and $8bil backlog and growing.

In May 2017, Petrofac and its lenders agreed to extend US$1.0 billion of its US$1.2 billion revolving credit facility by one year to June 2021. In addition, the Company has recently refinanced US$300 million of term loans maturing in August 2017, extending their maturity by up to two years.

Why is a dilution a bad thing ? If it even comes ? The near term is what concerns some.

Its not like its a raise to chance for a mineral its a rasie to then really benefit the company becoming back what it was.

I see one of the main focuses in the correspondence from Bod in recent times is to get back paying dividends. That comment wouldn't even be on the cards if they expected turbulence in a medium turn and needed to focus on growth. But do they need to focus on growth ? 8bil on contracts and 3000 staff intake this year shows me. Growth is already happening.

More than happy to be wrong. But from my own experiences i tend to believe what is in a RNS.

If company statement is

'financial liquidity is remaining above financial covenant'

My interpretation of that is... our short term obligations are in order why med to to long they know they need to improve sheet. I think they would struggle on banker guarntees to secure the deals they have if bankers did not anticipate they could or would complete the work. Theyd fall on the risk assessment, in same way mortage rejection would if person could not manage repayments. But PFC have secured these guarantees meaning banks outlook is confident.

Now im not a stupid ramper the risk are here but its priced in imo.

I was looking at financial sheet from june 2023 and they company holds 200mil alone in just equipment/propety. So are we saying the 8bil back log in deals other assets, staff ect justifies a MC of £180mil ?

I dont really hold PFC directly accountable for not receiving payments for other contracts. It seems they looked to have some more revenue this year from them. So id like to think they will almost definitely be close and will finalise those payments q1 2024.

I am new to PFC so i am more than happy to be put right on anything its how we learn right. But my skill set professionally is analytical so i like to think i can turf out detail.

My understanding is financial liquidity is remaining above financial covenant ? Meaning they are able to pay all near term obligations and the comments around strengthing balance sheet is to look to improve debt. (With meaning to do so on the new deals).

Happy to be wrong if anyone else has their pence worth.

Asfari, Iskander and chairman Rene Médori took this as their cue to add to their holdings. Asfari spent £650,000 increasing his stake to 16.3 per cent, making him the biggest single shareholder. Price paid was significantly higher than today.

There is only two likely options with pfc i the medium turn.

1. It balances its sheet in near term. Likely imo and the share price dramatically improves.

2. Theres a TO by another major. 8k staff (skills) and all its assets have significant value. Anyone with a high average a TO is a disaster. For anyone in at these levels its also a great outcome.

Honestly as i keep saying the shorters are nobodys vs the institutional investors who havent budged at all on their holdings and are long.

PIs get so shakey when they see the word short seller as if they have some insider info if they did they would have been off at 17p pre latest run.
