Dont think id be newly investing big sums in any airlines at the moment either, its all about the timing and your investment window. single figures here when i bought in with a pretty hefty sum, so an excellent investment to me.
Did the same a few years back with Ezj, bunged £50k in and watched it drop, hung on and sold at a £16k profit in the end. Its all about timing and sometimes patience.

For me i just dont see the argument against RYA not absorbing any space vacated and certainly not that their main competitors will attempt to fill that void in place of them. RYA are sitting on cash, the main competitors such as IAG / EZJ are sitting on huge huge debt and massive dilution which all will require servicing, those two are financial broke.. Who is going to lend IAG any more money after the recent £2b? You need cash or more debt increasing capital raising in order to expand and i just dont see where thats coming from.
Certainly will be pain until the vaccine gets rolled out more effectively around the world, all will feel it including RYA, but unless 'investing' for the short term is your particular game then mid to longer term RYa are streets ahead of the rest - and the market clearly agrees with the current valuation being as it is.

Then again it could, pays your money and takes your choice.

How many more years in addition to the 6 you state are you going to be "banging on about this" spectacular rise we just dont seem to be seeing anytime quickly? its very tiresome to read in each and every post while the sp sits relatively static.
Clearly of late the sp has risen to the current 1.4p from the lowly depths it decended to from 15p the other year. This rise is obviously most definately welcome but there is a long way to go to get back to circa 15p.
We hear your confidence in your assessment of prospects provided by LJ/GC, that is your opinion of which you are welcome, but to critise others for using "hope/if/when" is a little condescending.

Manycats, that is a very kind gesture and im sure it will be well received by those in need. I too hope that kzg are many multiples of 7.2 next year, maybe even shift the decimal point along one notch.

Am happy to confirm that Tj Mac is indeed the winner of the little wager suggested on 13th October with his prediction of 1.25p - well done sir.

The original idea was for the winner to donate £10 worth of groceries the next time they shop to their local foodbank. Despite losing with my personal tardy guess of 0.675p i shall indeed also be donating the same on my next trip to the supermarket. It would be great if all entrants could do the same, we then all become winners.

Billy, Ivans predictions for a doubling or even tripaling of output by 2050 is not that much of an annual increase in requirements in reality.
Its Fractions of %'s per year compounded up over a 30 year period to double. If he's even right.
I'll be 82 by then anyway, so its no good to me, wont want a Ferrari, a zimmer would be more suitable or maybe pay for the care home.

You are quite correct he has been banging BOO's drum for months with predictions of 450 already missed tome after time. Blatant ramper. His MER predictions and losses are more spectacular.

He has clearly been producing more of his usual brown smelly stuff from my reading of your post. Alas i cannot see his nonsense any longer, but i am heartened to know the grasped member is still deramping away which of course means the sp will rise further.
As i said, i will need to raise my target sell price if his nonsense continues, i just wish i could top up more but mikey has had to put a stop on us poor UK residents enjoying the continuing rise. Given the grasped members effect one has to wonder whether he is actually in Mikeys employ? After all he is almost as good for the sp as Mikey himself.
He will of course, be miffed at missing out on the ggp rise, as well as rya's doubling. He however is not used to prices of shares he owns going up, he clearly considers the appropriate investing method is to pay high and sell low, as his posts clearly demonstrate.
I can only assume he does this for a bit of 'fun', and as he plays with peanuts he is quite content to behave like a monkey.

Boris is buggered either way really. If he locks down people ignore it and if he doesnt he'll get the blame as well. Even down here in formerly tier 1 land, our cases have gone up from 17/100k to 97/100k in a little over a week, all because of too many feckin idiots getting bored.

I would definately agree with the goodwill being built in, along with a bit of last man standing premium. Its why rya moves in lesser %'s than some of the other more vulnerable companies like iag/ezj.
Personally I think all the airlines and travel firms are over valued based on pure fundamentals and current income, but there is far more involved in the markets currant valuations than just those usually considered basics, hence the sp nearing the record highs here, and the market always sets the eventual price.
