It will be interesting to see if the BBC reports anything on this at all. The whole fiasco is just bad management but the potential loss of thousands of jobs is disastrous. The spin that the BBC will put on it will be interesting. They hate the oil and gas industry and small investors.

There has been a huge amount of comment that I completely agree with on the stupidity of Ed Milliband and the energy policy. Unfortunately the BBC has done huge damage with its editorial policy which completely undermines our position as the common sense way forward is blighted by lunacy. Just complain to the BBC … FFS they are completely thick and have to follow their own policies. They will slowly adopt common sense if enoough people complain,

Already signed … but the lack of interest in this petition reflects the average uneducated Brit. No real interest or knowledge of the economy and heavily influenced by the likes of the BBC. Eastenders is their limit. To think we were once upon a time a world leader. Most empires eventually die but our demise has been brutal and quick.

The biggest problem for us is the ongoing bias of the BBC mainstream news against anything to do with the oil and gas industry. Loads of opportunities today to catch labour out wrt the lunatic strategy on destroying North Sea oil. I repeatedly complain .... the more that do so the better .... but dont hold your breath. The BBC is incredible. Dishonest and lies on multiple topics whilst simultaneously telling everyone that its trusted. No wonder the BBC and the political system is now despised.
