Evening all - hoping someone can help me get back into Edwin's Telegram group for SYME - I've managed to delete it on both my 'phone and my laptop today. I've been a member there for about 18 months.
Cheers, David Staniforth.
Yes, I do think it will be achieved, MRRR - and actually exceeded by quite a bit. AZ has pretty much kept to his news schedule and will not want to disappoint. I also believe that the amount securitised will be much greater than £300 million and this will be the driver behind the share price.
Good luck to all holders.
Dave.
Patience needed at the moment, but the current situation is much better than two weeks ago when the share price was wandering about in the .3 to .4 range. We have had a small re-rate since then and I am much happier to hold and keep adding at the current price. I am approaching my target holding of 2 million shares - a level which I feel comfortable with and can justify on the basis of available information. Chapeau to those who have much bigger holdings but, ultimately, we all have to stay in our personal comfort zone.
Good luck to all holders. Dave.
Hi, Tex,
Very wise approach if I may say so. I've been invested for a while and have just this week gone into profit.
My reasons for investing:
1. SYME is basically acting as an agent on commission so the business is relatively risk-free. If AZ can match up enough
clients with appropriate funders then the process will work. He is on record as saying that he has more than enough clients
for the first tranche.
2. The business is scalable and potentially international. If AZ achieves only half of what is planned then it will be very profitable.
Of course, it is a new idea and, as with any new idea, there are potential pitfalls. Personally I have weighed up the risks and decided to invest - others may think differently and I respect their decision.
Good luck to all holders.
Dave.
I think everyone has now taken their position on SYME and are just awaiting news.
If the next RNS is as good as I think it will be, all hell will break loose. I certainly would not like to be holding a short position at the moment which perhaps explains why the bashers seem to have disappeared, at least temporarily.
Good luck to all serious holders.
Dave.
Incredibly impressive interview - the guy knows his subject inside out.
Two standouts for me - " we are working with a global bank " and the one-month lead -in for companies to access capital from the get-go.
My opinion - it's going to be huge.
I've said it before and I'll repeat it now - given the technology that is available, it should be possible to indicate clearly whether a trade is a buy or a sell. The current ( inadequate ) system merely encourages market-makers to practise their dark arts to the detriment of ordinary punters like us.
My feeling is that whatever designation you want to attach to the figure of 1 billion euros, AZ is not going to reveal it to potentially thousands of people on YouTube without running it past SH first.
This suggests to me that the figure has some importance in the negotiations between SYME and SH and is not something that AZ has just pulled out of thin air.
That'll do for me for the time being.
Good luck to all holders.
I have just trawled through a 12 page supplement in today's Sunday Times entitled " Future of Banking and Capital Investment" in which virtually every article mentioned the potential benefits of Fintech in various areas of banking in the UK.
Banks are actively seeking new products for business capitalization, particularly SME's, but rarely move beyond new ways of repackaging traditional loan facilities. I looked in vain for any mention of Inventory Monetization.
By the end of the supplement I was more convinced than ever that SYME's model is going to attract huge interest when it is piloted in the UK because there is obviously a huge gap in the market for the service that it offers.
I have what I consider to be a substantial investment, by my standards, in SYME and shall be looking to add to it in the coming months. In my opinion, the static that we have seen on this board over the weekend just reinforces my belief that 2021 will be a great year.
Good luck to all investors.
