Yes, great - possible world class business consultations. But this is a plc with a union that does not recognise the business organisation known as a 'plc' . Also- in addition -the government, which gave royal mail freedom 10 years ago , is through the Uso the barrier to giving it the wings to fly

The pillar box pic ,great British eccentricity.
search for 'royal mail e trike'. It's the ultimate climate change game changer. No license or points to take into consideration. New millennial hipster employees would love them..and they would be a big hit with the public, especially in rural areas where noisy, dirty vans despoil our beautiful countryside

the language here is getting very dark. Talk like can we 'get rid ' of certain people or statements like the CEO of a British plc is 'out of his depth' are not pleasant. The workforce is the workforce..... but the business in which it operates has changed..... significantly.
PP I think there's a clue in your name as the reason for your cwu cancellation-it screams YUPPIE and not 'care in the community. Try 'postman-e-trike'.
I saw a postie with a severe limp get out of a hire van yesterday with 'we now hire welfare vans' emblazoned on it
In the big picture they do seem to be on their own - I heard a news report stating that as of Tuesday the total strike days lost this year stands at 750k. In the winter of discontent of 1979 a total of 29million strike days were lost.
