Vodafone have kept stum so far for the last 3 months , It may be now that the news is out that they intend to merge with 3 a bid emerges quite quckickly , interesting to see the share price moved quickly from the lows once Emirates raised it share holding to 11% stake in Vodafone- Dec 2022.
Liberty Global aslo acquired a 4.92% stake in Vodafone, saying it believed the shares were undervalued in Feb 2023.
Article - Is Vodafone about to become a takeover target? The once-mighty giant is in danger of becoming a sitting duck for overseas buyers, says ALEX BRUMMER - Dec 2022.
Morning , I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the 3 Merger , also the large share stakes purchased in the last few months by Emirates telecoms , could there be a full blown takeover bid , there is also Liberty who bought a large chunk of shares recently?
No my friend , actually done very well out of Tullow over the last few years , i am invested at .037p and intend to sell all my holdings when i break even , my fustrations are with the share itself , oil goes up = tullow down , oil goes down = tullow down.
I'm glad I sold out yesterday , it was pretty obvious that after the party gate report issued yesterday and Borris hammered in Parliament he had to do something extreme and find the money to pay for it , I will be ba in at -25% from todays opening price.GLA
I don't post much but just read the conversations going on however some of the crap I've heard lately is so ridiculous.
Rr will be the world's leader in clean carbon energy , has spent billions on R&d and continues to do so.
The current price of the share is basically a buy 1 get 1 free.

There are to many stories regarding the recent rise to make sense of , what investors need to look at is the huge potential of this company without any merger or take over , listed a few below
SMR ORDERS tba
Electric planes
Gear box
Covid flight hrs
Air indian contract tba
US Air force contracts TBA
Sale of Spanish arm TBA
Break even around $35 per barrel , perfume oil at $90.00 , profit at $55 per barrel.
At $55 per barrel and producing 60k per day this would give Tullow $3.3m profits per day.
Per Annum profit $1.2 billion.
Presuming oil hits $90 i would think that dividends would be back and Tlw market cap would be at least 2-3 billion , indicating a price in the range of £2-£3.
Just my opinion.
Morning , does anybody know if the short interest in Tullow have an expiry date and were would you get this information ?
The reason I am asking - on Ig index you can short stocks on a daily or monthly expiry so if this is the case for shorter thier contracts will expire and will need to roll over or close , knowing this information would bring some insight to when Tullow could rocket.
Thanks for any replies
