Funds for a 3D Siesmic survey were raised as part of the £10m.. They seem confident the 130m seal stretches north, I get the impression that the phase 2 deep sites will be north of Tai & Itumbula, so may be they will upgrade when they survey the area..

They say there needs to be some work done first as current seismic data does not accurately resolve traps at a shallow depth. So they need to assess alternative geophysical techniques, then test them over known structures, before deployment.
No real details given but hopefully some news soon.

But with phrases like " offers the capacity & possibly & potentially" all used discussing shallow traps after finding only 1..

DM suggested they could go back, and cut the casing set to 400m to perform testing,?

@Hms, well that 12.6p Buffalo valuation suggests x4 is a possibility but post production, so I believe.
I am hoping for a good rise once drilling gets the go ahead, and hopefully another asset added before the end of the year..

Mitchells signed up to the same 3 drill project that we did, their contract was agreed before completion of the 2D infill..
To imply they were short changed is to imply we were too.
Whats being suggested here is we were informed days after Mitchells were made aware drilling was over ?

I dont think there is too much to gain working through the posts, we are back at the start, needing to gather more data.
ST provided a seemingly unrelated documentary showing Rukwa was a sweet spot for helium in the east african rift sytem, so we know its there..
Being really simplistic, we invested in a fully funded 3 hole project, with up to 9 shots at goal,
Tai was a deviation from the original plan, a single hole a few inches in diameter, in 3500km that appears to have been enough to provide reason for a whole new plan..
With the info provided I am more than a little sceptical, and I dont have the greatest confidence in what appears to be sudden changes to plans, if they drilled a second hole which backed up the findings of the first.....

@ITV, I watched their first movie in the local cinema when I was a boy, I laughed for days after..

@SGF, I did not think anything of the discovery tag but that Directors Talk written interview talking about fast tracking the project is questionable as I assume He1 would have proof read and approved that. So to release it days before announcing the disappointing result of Tai-1 will stick in my mind.
Then to recommence drilling only to stop days later, when they could have announced they only intended to drill 70m before ending phase 1. That is just 15m deeper than the conductor casing set for Tai-1..
Both instances encouraging buying before disappointing news, both avoidable.. The outcome would have been the same but people would have invested less..
Knowing that the potential is still so tempting
