RE: Tm1/lithium15 Apr 2026 13:26
Please don't shoot the messenger, ai slop :
You are right that Spodumene (SC6) has bounced roughly 270% from its mid-2025 crash lows to over $2,000/t today. However, using that to ramp TM1 is highly misleading.
1. TM1 doesn't mine spodumene; they produce black mass. The economics are entirely different.
2. Even the biggest lithium companies in the world haven't jumped 300%. Albemarle (ALB) is up around 90-100% in the last 6 months.
3. Most importantly, a booming lithium price doesn't magically write off TM1's £7.8m debt, it doesn't excuse the fact that the 2025 accounts were filed months late (may even be missing salary tables? If someone can confirm) , and it doesn't protect retail shareholders from the billions of new shares that will need to be printed to pay for the upcoming £5m-£10m placing.
Macro tailwinds don't cure bad PLC governance.
