Don't disagree with you, explorers do great in the short term and right now probably a great investment. They tend to slow down and often dilute as they transition into producers. Goldstone had a good run up to 14p before dropping right back down and almost collapsed as it moved to production. OMI is on a few radars at the moment.

Wolf - OMI has had some good results, but unless I'm missing something it's still an explorer and not actually getting gold out the ground at all time high prices.

As GRL is in production lets hope they are getting the gold out the ground.

I'm not an expert and welcome input from others, but some of the lack of movement is probably due to the 16% extra shares added to the market, but it can only be held still for so long. I have a feeling that if strong production numbers comes in and the fact that the shares were bought at a premium price, this is going to shift up a gear very quickly.

Gold price is rising well.... $2,870. Who thinks we will hit $3k oz this year?

Gold price ($2,820) has now smashed the all time high. Great time to be in the gold mining business.

The share price will get a serious shift on if the production numbers are strong.

There is definitely more shares now than in 2021, however what you do have to consider that's different also is that the gold price in 2021 was about $1k an oz cheaper.

1000 oz is worth about $1m more a month than back then too.

I'm going to ask the dumb question.... has the new shares been added yet? Not really noticed much movement up or down on the share price.

Strong week for the gold price, going for a new all time high?

In true gold producer style, they announce positive news, the SP declines. Gold price is now testing $2700 per oz, we still drop. The market will hopefully soon wake up to how much money is to be made at these prices.

I don't blame people for trying to get a pull back, the interesting tactics used around here has been great to load up on shares at basement low prices. I was on the edge of my seat myself hoping it wouldn't full blown face plant in the dirt. Happy to know that they have got their act together.

I agree this could be a bit of a star.

I don't think they have a point, when they want the price to pull back, they change the conversation away from the positive discussions that were happening this morning, following the positive news was announced.

I find that the risk is quickly disappearing with Goldstone, they have absolutely made mistakes in the past, but their turnaround in the past 12 months have been very positive. With the price of gold where it is today and where it's forecast to ve by the end of 2025, I would be surprised if the company isn't very profitable by years end.

Happy with that! Production is going in the right way, they're getting the loans under control, this is looking like an good operation.

2025 should be another good year for gold, and hopefully a fantastic year for Goldstone. 2024 has been a rollercoaster ride of a year, but the way ahead looks positive. 2025 bring it on!

Risks in goldmining is not being dialed in well enough to produce big numbers, but a risk to shareholders at the moment with the share price sitting where it is, is the dilution of shares to pay for loans. Once the market knows the agreement on the loan, this should start to move upwards. If the price of gold and production numbers continues to climb, which it's forecast to do, this will rapidly pick up pace.

Gold price is back on the rise and with production slowly increasing, this is a fantastic opportunity. Still some risk, but this is gold mining, there is always risk.
