Seb - not sure I wish to see itsh enlarged! I’m with you tho, why is it seen as a risk now we have seen so many positive reports. This last one in China with Dr fish is the best. It categorically works. I’m not 100% down with my interferon alphas and betas 1&2. Is the Chinese trial the same drug as ours (I know it can be a different formula) and the Merck drug is that the same too? I thought we discussed that beta was better than alpha but please tell me off if I’m wrong!

Equity hypo - you say next week watch out for the spike. Are we thinking it may spike lower in order To shake the weak and pick up cheap shares prior to results? Or a spike up in anticipation of results? It’s going to be hard not to panic if it hits the 20’s and most of us will be 50% + down so it needs to re-rate big time to make the wait worth while. I think we would all love £3/£400m MCap. I’m also worried after watching Mm’s hold many shares down recently. If this drug is proved to be successful then it will be the biggest news since the COVID grim reeper arrived. We know the press are waiting on results as they have told us so. Watch this explode with news if successful. I just hope the price stays at the peak long enough to sell rather than drop back and the MM’s won again. Let’s all hope for a takeover so we don’t have to guess when to cash in!!

I agree about the risk, although most investments are risks. You just have weigh up the risk reward and your appetite for success v failure. I’ve always backed myself but it’s more difficult when your having to back people you don’t know whilst some idiots (Warwick lad and MM’s) are messing with your decisions. I still go back to every piece of research found and it shows Interferon to be helpful in many ways. I would be interested to hear why Warwick lad thinks it won’t be. I wonder if he has found some research that we haven’t? Come on back up your crappy little post with some evidence.

Agreed, if synairgen don’t have much else in their armoury then they may want to cash in and ride off into the sunset. They deserve it if it comes off and so do we!

I like Mid/long term opportunity at odx. And Avacta cancer treatment looks amazing but they have royally screwed PI’s with placing and cashing in on COVID to fund cancer therapies. One for the long term there.

Good to know. I’m also keen to add more. I have another 50k spare but already we’ll stocked. Just there in case they play with us and drop it past 35p. I’m keen on some others but hoping syn comes good, we can cash out and then I can add more longer term holdings and go back to my day job!!

When you say a deal, you think a takeover or licensing deal? I’m thinking more licensing but would prefer takeover. Would they not have to rns is in takeover talks or can they discuss subject to results?

My real wish is the mms don’t mess around and they just let this go if successful. Surely they wouldn’t be allowed to play games on a positive Rns?

I did watch the roadshow and Richard was already speaking with potential partners there for COPD. He had the phone numbers for the right people that’s for sure. Sharesting - do you see the MCap being multiples immediately on results I.e a re-rate, or are we looking at an increase over months, if not years, once income stream is known. Would be good to get some timeframes in my head of what to expect.

Haha jackman! I completed on an agency yesterday. Doubled the size of ours. Yes it would help but I may well keep the money if successful to build a House for myself. Grand designs obviously! MCap £750m would be nice. May take some while for that but who knows. All I do know is It won’t go as I expect it too as it never does!

Dave - it would really help the SP and retail investors to understand if they include in the results a licence agreement with X company! I just think they have been working their *******s off behind the scenes to get everything in place. I guess the results may be a slight damp squib if no agreement is in place. But I really don’t know. All guesses from me.

Agreed miggy. Also doesn’t mean we rely on a vaccine and the unknown antibodies longevity. If they managed to get some patients earlier in the Virus (due to co-morbidity illnesses) at the hospital then there should be a few results that they can use to prove early treatment is best. Although the holy grail would be it helps everyone at every stage. Getting exciting now. RNS incoming...

I’m not particular measured - I definitely side on the ramping team but I do listen to all views. Although I have gone against Nolupus’s advise and invested more than I should! I think a lot of us have been sucked in with the potential here and the good it will do if successful. This is an emotional and financial investment. I would be gutted to loose it all but a 50% drop would be ok. On the other hand a 10 bag would be nice!

All you need to ask yourself is how much has this 'fake news' taken off the value of the business. In reality probably nothing, although sentiment is a tricky one to value. I would say a recovery to around £3.80-£4 is about right until next results and then probably £5. DYOR
