This is a massive over reaction. I presume the market makers will keep dropping this until a few days before the results come out - then we are back to a slow price increase again - rinse and repeat

Yes, for some reason i'd added the trading update on my own personal calendar for 10th Jan 2025 😃 and so had that date in mind

Burberry will issue its Third Quarter Trading Update on 24 January 2025 as per RNS.

That said, I'm hoping the price will reach atleast £10.50 by then

Stargate's technicals post a few weeks ago was for a target of £9.57 ish not sure if that's now changed since the last lot of news - who's tried on a Burberry scarf virtually? I had a go this morning it was rather fun

On reflection I just don't see Burberry merging with Moncler. That's not to say there isn't a deal, as no smoke without fire. I'm thinking LVMH are better suitors to Burberry.

Why re open up their flagship store on East 57th in New York recently, and then opened their flagship store in Beijing at the beginning of November. It's certainly a mystery as to why they did that if they are so (apparently) deeply in financial trouble. It can't be cheap opening up both stores and hiring more staff etc

It just doesn't make sense why they would consider a bid, if they've newly opened the two new stores.

Let's see what unfolds this week anyway

Thanks Stargate 🤩 my target was £8.30 but the funny thing was I'd signed in the other day and the price had already jumped to £8.64 bypassing my target, but i'm now hoping it will reach atleast £9 - that's not to say I'm not feeling the risk involved, but let's see how long I can hold my nerve as got a lot riding on it

Despite recent broker ratings it's going up - and may it continue - November news is comings and hopes for the future that the Company does well .. GLA

I think the price was all over the place this morning for the first few minutes - it took a while for HL to show live prices for ALL stocks ..
