Directorate Change
Cineworld announces that Damian Sanders will step down from the Board of Cineworld on 31 December 2022 in anticipation of pursuing a full time executive role with another company. Damian joined the Board as an independent Non-Executive Director in August 2020 and serves as Chair of the Audit Committee and is a member of the Nomination Committee. Following Damian's departure, the Board will include a Chair who was independent on appointment and four independent Non-Executive Directors. Cineworld believes that these individuals, together with other independent directors who have been appointed to the boards of various operating subsidiaries as part of the ongoing Chapter 11 process, will maintain appropriate independent governance and oversight.
Alicja Kornasiewicz, Chair of Cineworld, said: "Damian joined the Board at a particularly difficult time for the business, when many of our regions were enduring lengthy periods of lockdown and restrictions. We thank him for his valuable contribution to Cineworld and wish him all the best for the future."
Only £3 btw, get yourself to the cinema
I’m about to watch maverick in screen x, that should be enough to get us out of this mess. No it’s not a ramp or deramp, it’s Just a bit of harmless banter
It’s about trying to get out at the right time, fair play in at 2p out at 8-10p
The company is also seeking to reduce its debt through an unspecified “de-leveraging transaction”. The board ominously warns that this will result in “very significant dilution of existing equity interests … and there is no guarantee of any recovery for holders of existing equity interests“.
What’s the point in posting 100 times a day, then just disappearing, full of crap anyway lol
Anyone know ?
47k. Buy, wow this will fly later on
Yes I agree they are showing films, with hardly any audience, that costs money, that would be great if they only had 5 screens
Hexam big blockbusters are fine, it’s just lack of depth, with all the different streaming sites out there, I just cannot see it ever getting back to Normal, I hope I’m wrong. Cineworld Needs to somehow adapt, thou I don’t have the answers
Knieves out, spirited, + new will smith film all basically straight to streaming, one week in cinema, isn’t helping, when you can watch 2 weeks later on Apple etc. yes if it’s a blockbuster like maverick. Btw maverick back in cinemas this weekend screen x at cineworld £3, I will be watching
Doesn’t it say (lack of depth) in my title ? Meaning not enough films. Ticket sales won’t be effected in the us by the World Cup, nobody cares out there
This was suppose to be the best quarter, apart from avatar nothing else, as Shazam 2 being delayed, this month will be Lucky to do 600 million, the last 6-7 years always been 1 billion all close. I’m pretty sure the World Cup doesn’t effect ticket sales in the us
Retailinvester you have already made a mistake, as I haven’t sold up, I sold a small holding i have in HSBC’, when the bankruptcy news broke, my main holding in Lansdown Hargreaves I still hold, as it Wouldn’t let me sell. Next question?
Maid it was up 40% yesterday then dropped, then went back up again
