It makes perfect sense. 80p is being thrown about. I Can't see it getting to that because once it bags and goes beyond 40-50p people will take profit (or recover losses).
I'll simplify it for you. I think it will settle between 50 - 60p.
Sinead O'Connor said it best when she sang Nothing Compares 2 U
2 tugs now located near the rig. An anchor handler (Horizon Arctic) is in the fjord. Nao (Hermit) Fighter has set off from Aberdeen headed toward the rig and two other vessels (Skandi Iceman and Siem Opal) are also headed for the rig. My best guess is that it will be full steam ahead tomorrow morning.
Why is it crazy? We are still within the period that the company stated. It isn't late. I'd rather they took their time and got everything right than rushed to get the rig sailing because a few PIs are getting jittery. This is all getting blown way out of proportion.

Anything else?
Me too - same price
I set a limit order of 1600 just before the bell - never stood a chance. I'm sitting on what I have for now and will see how the next week or so pans out. Next acquisition can't be far round the corner though.
Edit: $350mn in the coffers - not bn (yet)
Surfi is attempting to play games with his repeated trash talk. I'll copy and paste my previous reply.
Nice deramping - but you need to try harder than that. AA is on a relentless acquisitions path and there's >$3.6bn worth of oil in the ground. There's only one person talking nonsense here i'm afraid.
I will add some further crude maths (pun intended). Profit on the 60mmboe is likely to stand us at around $2bn and that we have $350bn already in the coffers. Even without further acquisitions, that is a lot of profit for a company currently valued at £106m.
No debt, pure cash gain. Every reason to get excited imo.
