Yeah Super things need to get up and running ASAP ACA & Barrick have taken too much of a hit in a relatively short space of time. Think might find more news will drip feed out and might for short term steady SP or move share slightly upwards if a closure is looking likely. Like others have said on this site this is the Country tryng to obtain what it feels is due to them and this has ruffled feathers with ACA Put it this way a Tax bill of 160 Billion ????You dont know how much of this is smoke and mirrors. Can any of them afford for this not to go ahead. Don't think so.

Reuters news just published saying that Barrick say Acacia would not have pay money upfront.

At the end of the day no matter what has happened whether deceit, lack of communication or whatever the Govt obviously do not want to communicate directly with Acacia and therefore a deal has been done behind their backs but in the cold light of day if Acacia do not agree where will that leave them. Yesterday was a taster of what would happen if an agreement including Acacia were ti happen. Maybe Acacia can obtain some form of concessions and maybe that will be part of the deal. ie Maybe they wont have to pay the 300million. Lets hope its sorted quickly

Realistically how quickly can this be approved and signed off by Shareholders and will a statement from Acacia saying they agree with the deal be enough to start a move on the sp.
