We should be saying thank you to Simon Thompson for the well deserved rise today. Needs to go even higher. Can you keep wring about JOG easch week Simon?
I am amazed that no one, on any of the boards is talking about the at last common sense approach by our current prime minister. Future oil exploration not being banned in the north sea and so on. Oil and gas will continue to be needed for a very long time. Ground source heat pumps work, air source are terrible. Householders just cannot work them properly. And a dwelling has to be highly insulated first before you even think about a heat pump as they are nowhere near as efficient at heating your home as a gas boiler. Living in Cornwall and working in Devon I would have needed to be rescued everyday near Buckfastleigh if driving by an electric car, and my range anxiety would be through the roof. At least I could have made it to the Globe for a pint of Jail ale, or even better a pint of the cornish beer Proper Job.. Or even thos fantastic fish and chips in Buckfasleigh. Leave Dick alone, as I very much depend on his advice when it comes to JOG. Not long to go now, and the share price should be where it should be by Christmas. I am even hearing rummors that an offer is just about to be made to purchase the whole of JOG for £79.00 per share... And after six pints of Proper Job was it £250.00 per share?

Cash position of approximately £5.6 million, with no debt, as at 30 June 2023. Further cash receipts due on satisfying Buchan re-development milestones - $9.4 million on execution of the FPSO acquisition agreement and $12.5 million on Buchan FDP approval
This means any miniute the company will recive another 9.4 million with the FPSO agreement in place, on top of our 5 million. Nearly 3 times as much in the bank.....
If we are now going to produce 5 x as much gas. Does that mean that the share price should be a 5 bagger. Nmaely £3.45
Dropped back to 73.50
This is a slow climb. 10 mins in and just 74p
Bearing in mind yesterday was a bank holiday in Canada, there never was going to be an RNS today otherwise they would have been working on it through the bank holiday itself. I recon tommorow or Thursday.
City investors take note JOG in the news just about to sign contrcat in the next few days. Get this share price up....
Come on city investors you are missing a trick here.
FPSO contract just about to be signed, with news could be as early as next week.
Announcement in September of additional farm out. Share price shortly to rocket
I am pleased to hear that Dick must be a local like me. To help the oil price I drive from Cornwall to work at Exeter each day and on the return journey I always stop off at the Globe in Buckfastleigh for a pint of Jail Ale before going ascross the road from the Globe to the best fish and chip shop in the world. Hence I would rather hold our celebration at the Buckfastleigh fish and Chip shop. The Happy Eater that is on Holden Hill Exeter, but under a different name is horrible. The whole menu is burgers.
The nearest helicopter landing site is Castle Air, the people behind helicopters in Treasure Hunt etc.
The problem is like Dick we are all long standing share holders in JOG, but, ST in todays IC tells us that we are all just about to become very rich. Us Cornish boys invented the modern day world steam engines, trains, modern day soap invented in mevigissey, Need I go on... Of course we are all supporting JOG. Its the only way us Cornish boys can earn any money, and with tourists of course...
Buckfastleigh does in fact have a whole new bank of EV charging points with a cafe on site, and right next to Buckfast Abbey. Opened in the last month or so.
that could be the venue
Looks like they are getting desperate to try and persuade existing shareholders to join in. I am keeping well away.
Its really odd that the share price has not been moving at all up or down for the last couple of days. And no one has been posting any messages since Monday. Are we all getting very nervous? I thought that at least with my post I would try and break the silence...
Sorry typo BPC presentations
The trouble is that it was the incoming CEO that we all watched on BRC presentations over the past years, but just in a different role. So he is as much at fault, possibly more so than the outgoing CEO. Hence not really a new management team. It is the same old people. It is a bit like the Russian president who just rotates with his prime minister. I did send the incoming CEO a message via a presentation a couple of weeks ago asking him how he is going to get existing investors to forget the past, and put up even more money. The answer is then that he cant. Dont forget that the existing CEO is not even leaving the company. It is just a makeover and paint job
Could they be thinking of geting involved with JOG I wonder
You are looking at details of the old HBR which was in effect Eurocamp tarding under HBR before it got taken over. Ignore those figures as they dont relate to Harbour.. Our shares are in the billions
Holiday Break, which is Eurocamp did not go bust. It got taken over. But very much still going. Well I hope so otherwise thats my holiday dwon the tubes.
I forgot to mention that even though JOG has come good in an outstanding way, it has taught me never to invest again in a company that has so much hanging on the exploration of basically one well. But ha all has come good lets be cheerful.
Hi Tommy, AB stated this because I asked a question at the webinar, trying to find out the level of interest being shown in the farmout even though its only two or three weeks in. Andrew firmly replied stating that the farmout will not be played in the public markets, meaning that he cannot comment as this is a confidential process. And I fully expected Andrew to reply in that manner. I was just trying it on to see if I could glean anything. In reply to my question he did let slip that the process would be 4 to 8 months.
And for Dick, I have had a major holding, to me anyway, in JOG since around 2014. Yes there has been ups and downs and I will never get over the first Verbier Annoucement, only for them to announce a week later that they have sidetracked and found oil after all. But we are all past that and I strongly believe that the next 4 to 8 months or so will be an exciting ride. I believe Andrew has done a fantastic job in building up JOG from nothing. Better than what I ever imagined. But I also know that when they say 8 it usually means 9 or 10. But this year should have good things for us to look forward to.
