Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Rolls-Royce surged 24% in July 2023 after it said that its financial results for the first half of the year are expected to be materially above consensus expectations.
Operating profit of GBP660 million to GBP680 million, versus consensus of GBP328 million, as well as free cash flow of GP340 million to GBP360 million, versus consensus of GBP50 million. Rolls-Royce explained that this reflects continued end-market growth and its focus on commercial optimisation and cost efficiencies across the company.
H1 was double than forecasted. H2 was even bigger.
Therefore you can safely say that year end for 2023 are going to blow through all forecasts, up to 100% more than expected year on year.
Plus they could announce a divi.
£3.50 end of Feb.
Pernix, go collect stamps, markets are not for you.
Rolls are about to drop huge results in mid Feb...double forecasted revenue, ebitda and free cashflow.
We will be 325p-350p by end of Feb.
Sell up, as clearly this is too much for you.
Of course the deal is done. Its a big nothing burger. Rolls engines are programmed to burn less fuel which results in hotter engines (good for the environment etc). In some climates (hot) they will need to revise this setting, stick a laptop in engine and connect with a usb and press a few buttons. We are the best engines in the world.
Thanks bassilika, been a great run from MNZS to Rolls...moving into a SAF producer now in Californoia (AMTX)...our CEO is a visonary and when he makes statements like this, you can see the future too (and its not electric or hydrogen);
'Rolls-Royce, which wants to sell its electric flight division to focus on improving profits in its jet engine business, said that hydrogen is not a medium-term option for widebody, large commercial aircraft, rather preferring Sustainable Aviation Fuel. “I don’t believe in the next 15, 20 years hydrogen will play a role,” commented Rolls-Royce’s CEO Tufan Erginbilgic during the presentation with analysts and investors.'
Etank: Firstly AMTX is US based (California). Secnondly look at the worlds largest SAF producer, Neste, up 1500% on SAF production this year. GE/Pratt and Wintey and Rolls new engiens all SAF ready. Rolls are selling thier Electric flight division and our CEO has stated Hydrogen is decades away. He is quoted on Tuesday;
“I don’t believe in the next 15, 20 years hydrogen will play a role,” Chief Executive Officer Tufan Erginbilgic said on a media call on Tuesday. While the company is working on hydrogen technology with discount carrier EasyJet Plc, Erginbilgic said he believes sustainable aviation fuel, or SAF, will be the sole pathway for large jets to achieve net zero climate targets.
By raw materials for SAF production do you mean Feedstocks? Do you know which feedstocks AMTX are proposing to use? How about woodwast, which we have endless supplies from forests and almond farmers. What abotu the tax credits in support of SAF in the recent IRA.
etank you are betting against SAF...good luck with that.
No shortage of
GEVO is junk. Diluted Junk.
AMTX only has 40m shares floated (and CEO has 10% of company).
They are also in bio-diesel and RNG (cow methane) and cashlowing on all three now.
The yare focused on drop in fuels, ie SAF (use exisitying engines).
If we get one insitiuational buyer we are back to $20 plus. Blackrock is building a position with us.
We will get our Permit to Construct Q1 our SAF refinery permit, 90 miles from SFO airport. Refinery permits in California are rarer than a mermaids tear. Took us 5 years and $40m to get...and we get it Q1 24.
We went from MNZS to RR.L and now to AMTX...get on board.
Great time to enter...2924 will be a huge year. We have a big postion there.
Great synergy with engine makers.
Emirates achieved a groundbreaking moment in sustainable aviation by operating its Airbus A380 on 100% sustainable aviation fuel in one engine. This marks a significant step toward standardizing, certifying, and adopting 100% sustainable aviation fuel in the industry. The confidence in the GP7200 engine design stems from the collaboration of industry giants General Electric Co. and Pratt & Whitney. Notably, major engine manufacturers like Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney, and GE are collectively committed to sustainable aviation fuel for the next 20-40 years.
Get invested with SAF also, AMTX has a 1000% upside over next 24 months
