Geopolitical issues, Biden focusing on axes of power, defence spending likely to be ramped up, protective gear that Avon makes essential for armed services etc., others in the industry will have supply line issues too I imagine. Not one to chase just now, but definitely "top-up" on weakness

Summer lull with Covid largely out of the news...but still out there! Am expecting a huge surge in cases in the next few weeks with renewed govt panic & testing once again to the fore. Time to buy on dips with view to holding until this occurs late summer/early autumn...Covid like Arnie "WILL BE BACK!!"

Price stabilised today. ULE confirms Cobham bid, Meggitt the Parker Hannifin bid. Started position on Avon Friday just before close of play...speculative, but looks likely to go the same way unless management can turn around
