"can't have any more placing this would kill the share price"
Err. I would say the share price is already just about dead.
Much less than a placing will finish the job.
Accepting a low ball offer for one of our projects or another month or two without proper progress are my favourites at the moment.
When is the agm. I think Troy needs to explain why he thinks he is the right man for the job. He's been running i.o.c.a for over two years now and achieved nothing of note.
We've just turned away the 2nd tranche of a loan. There appears to be another option for finance . Given the yet another delay on the hanc0ck project, (let alone the others), the financing of the company is crucial as to whether we will see a upturn on this so far under performing b.o d. I won't be holding my breath as alien doesn't give two hoots about the views of its shareholders
This lithium connection is tenuous to say the least and rather desperate. Our best chance is still the iron ore and the market says its not happening anytime soon. I would like to know how the company is going to finance itself meanwhile
Nor would they be wents.
Today's announcement tells us nothing at all really. We might be months away from the dfs and the decision to mine. If then they chose a contractor it might mean something. We've gone from no news at all to news that doesn't move this project forward one step. And it certainly hasn't de-risked it as stated in the announcement.
the share price is down because its a **** show of performance by the company and the new ceo has overseen it all in his position at ioca. how is he going to explain all this at the agm. another one for the revolving door methinks
Very true uncle jim but its not going to happen is it.
12 roses.
The deal you describe looks very restrictive and basically makes the whole project look like a very poor deal for alien. This company desperately needs some good news.
More chance of good news from the kremlin
Lithium apart the obvious move for alien metals is iron ore production asap. Why hasn't that happened and why does the company think this will change. This lithium play is very likely a poor attempt at deflecting attention away from activities at the company and lack of positive movement. The share price tells me its not working
Hi Max111.
We have to assume at the moment that there is no lithium because there is no evidence that there is yet. If there isn't what will ufo do to raise the necessary finance for next year. Why is the company deliberately avoiding talking to its share owners and explaining why the delays are happening. Could the company also explain why it has been happy to mislead investors about timelines for the last three years and why we should believe a word that they print now.
Soot on happy h. I would like the company to explain why the iron ore has been put back yet another year and how the company intends to finance itself for that period. The cash spend will have increased with all the new bod in comings. Is the anglo deal still on the table and if so where is the 5m coming from. This pie in the sky stuff about lithium worries me, because it stinks. And I'm afraid the company stinks at the moment. Im locked in so please no- one advise me to sell. But better email the company like i did and ask them what the hell is going on. The agm should be very interesting. I expect it will be held in outer space this year
I almost got my hopes up there. The re-schedule is very disappointing. The iron ore is supposed to pay for the other ventures. We don't have the finance for a joint venture. So how the heck can we be talking about liz hills or muny muny. Are we hoping that anglo will do all that for us free. Dream on i think
Two ways to take this rns. Either ufo are confident that they have funds arriving in the next few months or bennelong have pulled the second tranche. Either way we will probably know by the end of the year.
Given these exploration activities and then joining the que for the heritage acceptance. I've had to come to the conclusion that we are months away from any progress on this
Hi tangodog1024.
As happy h tells us they have updated us.
"recent rns clearly states we've had to raise more cash to put towards "funding exploration activities particularly around native title negotiations and field heritage surveys at han****"
The heritage agreement is obviously a serious problem for us. Its taking a very long time to process and giving the company silence on the matter its plainly something they are struggling with. It looks to me as if the locals have said no. Until the company updates on this i will see no reason to alter my opinion.
Sorry that was a reply to uncle Jim.
Its still that way in the hanc0ck presentation.

The timelines remain the same. Ie deal with anglo and native title by the end sept. First shipment still by the end of the year. The dilution is the main disappointment. The possibilities obviously are now watered down. But all is not lost just yet. Can't deny that my confidence in the bod is rock bottom though. How's that for balance and plain honesty
