Well ive wanted to filter a couple of people in the last seven years but i cant remember a time i was actually up in any investment to feel i could justify doing so, lol. I hadn"t the funds to take meaningful positions in a few companies so have just been adding here where i can and waiting for a time i could spread some profits around. Profit!!!! Well that would be nice. It even brought a smile to my face discussing recouping my stake money here at 50p, just a mere 600% rise to allow that to happen. Still ever the optimist, at least i have a decent holding should we ever conjure up a decent rise and with so many unknowns around me at least it feels like every day i am in some sort of lottery with a chance to win a worthwhile amount. Feels that way just moreso now, think i will worry what next if i ever get into the position too. It was very true when i said i had mentally written off my investment, so i feel no pressure but have everything to gain. Can never see the point in filtering, however appealing it sometimes feel, I tend to follow a few posters, then the share, and just learning something i had so little interest in has been fun. There is just one thing i would change, and that is everything, lol!!!

Anyway, genuinly looking forward to next week, and seeing Chelsea beat Arsenal tomorrow, so life aint so bad after all. Enjoy your weekend too, ATB

Ivy, my position with ADVFN is very simple, I posted there for a while, was expecting a harder time than i got but haven"t looked in there for a good four months simply because it IMHO crossed the borders of decency and the constant criticism of Scancell and posters, such as inanaco became as predictable and boring, if not repetative. No one poster there stood out in particular it just seemed to me to that had their been even the slightest sign of moderators it could only have been beneficial.. Boom posted there when i did and miss him from posting here very much.

All in the past now, no big deal, I just don"t read it which is a shame as from time to time good points were made. I have said on a few occasions now i actually learned a lot more during that time than what i ever did with my previous attitude towards negativity. No need to apologise i did wonder if the BBs had crossed over but i can only comment on what i see.

I had the 23rd in mind, so thanks its actually Tuesday, FWIW I cant remember such a tiny spread given we couldn"t even sell 25k today in the market, so just one and a half more trading day to go before results. Well past mine, enjoy your evening,

Ray, I think we might be underestimating the press/publicity given to the finalists, again we shall find out soon. CRUK must be clearly ahead in coming over as the leading voices in Cancer Research in the U.K. , reliant on donations and tie ups with the leading lights in the Oncology World. I was never moved by the rumours that just one prize will get the £20m this year, and as we can see from the trials they are supporting th lists get stronger every year. They have found a way of attracting the best in the Oncology World and we have already received the highest validation from them in sponsoring SCIB 2 trials, which we hope with ever increasing confidence will lead to more collaborations from them if needed. I think somehow Scancell have passed close scrutiny in stability to warrent the benefits afforded to us, Lets see what next week and the short term brings for us in the coming weeks.

Ivy, TBH I really cannot remember any critiism aimed at rHatton at the time, that is why i mentioned it.

We are away to Arsenal at 5.30 tomorrow, every game is a big one but for you to know one or both will lose points is a good one. Seems a straight battle between us and you for 4th, who would have thought that a few months ago?

Enjoy your game, every game is so unpredictable these days, got three appointments Monday, scans and oncologists at UCLH so will be taking it easy for sure. Have a good weekend Ivy, however much we try to play GC down it promises to be an exciting week ahead, and it seems so long ago since we have the chance of some great news, lets hope it is a turning point for us, but i have said this before however good a victory will be, getting this far and having nurtured and learned much about our team has been priceless and hopefully sets us up for boundless opportunities in the months ahead. along with many other items of news which will position us to start realising the IP at last, least of all getting trials going again.

Agree with that Ivy, as i have said a few times there seem to be many only too happy to pay significantly more having seen significant progress being made.

Crumbs, I wonder at times how Scancell shareholders even know about GC unless they read these pages, it has hardly been put out that nuch by Scancell themselves!!!

Ivy, I might have missed some posts, unusual i do, but i distinctively remember about six of us, including me, who wished rhatton good luck, and nobody giving him any stick at all. It was pretty well known that he traded fairly often, and came at a time when the SP was falling on a daily basis and sentiment was very low anyway. I seem to remember he posted a while after that that at around 8p he would indeed be buying back at least some of his holding.

£2 a share suits me = £320k...........................make it soon though, lol. Being very realistic 50p = £80k, If circumstances allow, I would sell 50k, getting my investment back, and run with 110k free shares. There are so many scenarios either way, but like i say, we are not a binary play, setting us apart from many other AIM Bios.

Just thinking the same for me, at what point does buying more become irrelevant. I"ve got 160k, never thought i would ever get half of that, and if Ray is right that could be worth £3.5m!!! Hmmm, think i would be very pleased to see 50p lol. Think depending on a few things i would be very happy to sell 50k and get my original investment back!!

No need to apologise Ruck, but that comment about VAL came after yours, and then the battles start afresh. I think regardless of who wins GC next week, we all have something soon to look forward too, if we don"t win all parties know what will be needed to see this further, I guess the last thing we want to see is the petty rows when personal interests are high and we have had a few good questions from newcomers regarding GC...........which tells me there are many more looking in.

Still trying to decide myself on adding 20k odd more, i just keep promising not to add more and breaking it, lol.

Well inan if traders see VAL as a better place for short term gains with their trading pots, so be it. Pretty sure they have their core Scancell holding too, and with potentially very good news next week pretty sure they offer a quicker return in the short term IMHO.

As i have always said respect to those who have traded this well. Todays news couldn"t have been a shock for anybody. It has just come a bit later than i said, for slightly more raised than i thought, but exactly at 1.50 as i said months ago.

Shame the posts, which were well reasoned were removed amongst the abuse.

Sure the rampers will come up with 401 being closer than ever to a deal. Who knows, pure conjecture.

Ruck, an unfortunate post. As a BB we have never mocked what anybody can afford at any single time, what about the other 680k inanaco holds.
