Yeah, just had a lady being interviewed who was diagnosed with head and neck cancer in 2008, and is doing well now.

There are 12.000 newcases of head and neck cancer diagnosed in the UK every year, and there are 30 sites within that area where the cancers begin.

The upshot of the interview was awareness of this particular cancer, and thinking of the horrendous disabilities it can leave, swallowing, eating, talking, patients are not getting the information of the consequences or care. I can"t comment on that, but it was only a couple of years ago that I became aware of this condition for the first time and when you consider the information given for us in what to look for as symptons in melanoma, lung, prostrate and others they are right.

A simple ulcer in the mouth which doesn"t clear with anti biotics after 3 weeks is a giant red flag.

Hi Ruck, yeah it has been a nightmare the last few days for everyone probably, getting through it with a heart that works 30%, COPD, 1 working lung is yes challenging, lol. Very grateful it seems to be over for sure.

Take your point about the Messiah, was trying not to do that, but as you say they do go hand in hand, and I have researched many of his investments and the returns on this one potentially are just enormous, and his experience is an enormous asset to the BOD and I would expect any future funding issues to have significantly better outcomes. I imagine our friends over on the other BB must be delighted about Vupes?? After all they were hardly complimentary about the business and financial accumen of the BOD, rightly or wrongly?

So very true, the share barely resembles what we had when we stood at 64p, and that is the case despite the recent 150% rise too. And it is far more than just the pipeline explosion, I don"t think there are many underestimating the opportunities that could well exist with Diggle on board?

A very humble, but very true observation. It is such a shame, has existed for so long, and I fully understand Bermudas situation, whilst at the same time reiterate Inanacos input to us on this BB. I did make a comment about ADVFN last night, which I regret the manner in which it was said, there is actually not one poster there who I have an issue with, have learnt much from all of them over time, it is just I rarely feel energised reading posts there, there are too many such issues at any one given time.

I just have always enjoyed Bermudas contributions, his manner, politeness and good research, and TBH during the last few years I considered him a very good friend, always willing to give his opinion, and forever giving me encouragement whenever he could. The only reason I don"t particularly like to see a post from them is it often loses its contense not knowing previous threads and how the post was aimed to. That is just IMHO, and if I wanted to read his posts I can go there and read them thoroughly, in their full contense, but I prefer not too because of the many ""personality issues"" which after seven years have come, to me anyway, as being far too in your face, when Scancell as you say should be the only issue.

Loz, Tosh et al, just wanted to make that clear, Ihave no bad feelings to anyone, just don"t get good feelings with that always going on. Take care.

At last. Ihave got used to the new Beta pages, not really a lot to get used too really, but it was annoying me how the number of posts and trades didn"t automatically update.

Many thanks too to Inanaco, that discussion certainly helped me to understand a few things better, and I am so gratefu you were discussing the different mutations that occur, it could not have been more topical for me and regardless is information long been around for us to understand. As you know my brother passed just two weeks back, Ihae learntthe differences between us were his mutations were not as treatable as mine, whilst appearing the same earlier, and it was not the four tumours they successfull trated by microwave ablation but two sarcomas which danced free just after.

Proud of you too for the quality of your posts, as you know we came into this share together, and have put a lot into researching to understand this share as best we can.

Bermuda Shorts, morning to you, I have made a couple of comments recently about ADVFN, just wanted to let you know not one of them has you in mind, and I noticed you have still kept your LSE membership, and would ask you ""has enough time passed for you to return here"? I am sure there are so many who would want that as I do. One for you my friend, but you are missed and life is short.

Talking of which feeling so grateful we have passed the worst of this heatwave, another few days and life would have been even shorter!! Just can"t breathe in those temperatures anymore. So the end of another week, that is four weeks passed sice we were told we would be advised in the coming weeks on progress, I thing four weeks qualifies as that. We are all dying for news and delighted by the look of yesterdays trades we are patiently awaiting it.

I think you have noticed I no longer feel any need to post over on VAL, historically it began with Yoda and Multibagger which had some threads I will never forget, and I think on a few occasions up to a dozen posters from here took exception to some of the things said about Scancell on the VAL BB. and even here a few months ago by Year 1970 which were designed to be a nuisance rather say anything in particular. It was ignored, I actually feel sorry for so many who have lost huge amounts there and whatever our thoughts there are no big reasons not to suggestas the AIM market does SPIKE an again hopefully a few more will reduce there losses. Just a word on that is "U" genuine? I am not so sure.

Inan/Crumbs sure we will have a few more questions along these lines, look forward to them, I found it very helpful.

I agree with that Crumbs, I was hoping my post was clearer about it working to our advantage, I just wasn"t sure about whether Keytruda could be sold directly to a patient privately or needed a consultants Approval. Likewise whethar Merck had any say in its use as part of a clinical trial.

I wasn"t expecting the answer to be they have any say, but I guess wanted to rule out that being any reason for the delay in gaining the IND. Which poses another question..................what is holding up the IND???

Well Ive been wondering about the IND situation in America, and I"m wondering how much say Merck have in the granting of it to be used in human trials with Scancells SCIB1. What if the trial failed, and Keytruda could be construed to not be an ideal combination partner?

Just discussing Moditopes use with Keytruda possibly as part of the MOD1 trial in maybe just a handful of patients. If?? Results show that as a Monotherapy Moditope passes with flying colours, but in the Combination arm it shows not to work with Keytruda, I could only imagine that will prove very costly forMerck?? Whilst on the other hand completely validate Moditope as a Monotherapy?? So the questions really are.......how much say Merck have in Keytruda being used as a combination therapy, and if regulatory rules are different in the U.S.A to Europe, is there not a chance Merck are holding up the IND Approval??

If they aren"t positive about duplicating mouse data in humans, then why not sell up and free up a proper BB?
