Just been reading that article Ray, it is genius, and the more I read this platform could see our first commercial deal.

Just looking also at the cash position as in Trinity Delta and with the incoming funds from Vulpes and a tax credit, at an annual burn of lets say 450k a month (which included extraordinary items) it would seem we are sitting on a cash position exceeding £7m at this moment in time. A good solid base and better than i first thought it was.

Wonderful news nomlungu for lung cancer which as we know is an area that we see so many failed trials. As inanaco says if used as a treatment it could reduce number of deaths significantly.

The picture in that link of the patient, must have been a Pet Scan and is pretty sickening to see. Lets hope they suceed with that treatment even if only 13% benefit for now. Thanks.

Kind of Gilders, Scancell have increased staffing levels from 12-23 in two years, 12 of whom are PHDs.

This new third platform came from the CSOs work with Nottingham niversity and the SCIB1 trial has enrolled first patient on 19th August. More updates will come Thursday from the AGM, and do look at the new Scancell website for all information. A very exciting time, GL

Partnering process for glycan-antibody technology has begun Scancell acquired a
panel of monoclonal antibodies that bind to glycans and the related IP from
Nottingham University in April 2018, and has now started the partnering process
for the antibodies and technology, having developed the data packages. Tumourassociated glycans (TaGs) are an attractive, but virtually untapped, pool of oncology
targets as they are often highly tumour-specific. Scancell’s AvidiMab technology
enables antibodies to kill tumours directly, without the intervention of the immune
system, which could be particularly valuable in patients with “cold” tumours.
? Potential for material non-dilutive funding Licensing deals for the glycan
antibodies and AvidiMab technology could provide Scancell with meaningful, nondilutive funding for its key technology platforms, ImmunoBody and Moditope. For
reference, Scancell out-licensed some related antibodies to the Australian biotech,
Peptech, in 2006 receiving an upfront payment of £2.0m and a £2.85m milestone.
While a royalty will be payable to Nottingham University, any deal should deliver an
impressive return on investment and improve Scancell’s cash position.
? Important clinical data from ImmunoBody and Moditope in H220 Initial clinical
data from the recently-started Phase II melanoma study with ImmunoBody SCIB1 in
combination with pembrolizumab, and the Phase I/II trial in various solid tumours
with Moditope Modi-1 are due in H220. Promising results from either trial could
transform the prospects of the company.
? Valuation maintained at 17.6p/share We value Scancell at £82.0m (17.6p/share)
based on a rNPV and sum-of-the-parts methodology, with conservative
assumptions. Licensing deal(s) would improve Scancell’s cash position. It had cash of
£4.6m on 30 April 2018, and subsequently received c £4.8m in total from a R&D tax
credit receipt and the private placement to Vulpes Life Sciences Fund.

Does it make you feel better to have no faith in the BOD, the same BOD who have taken us here and received many validations, and is it just possible they know how far they need to go to get maximum shareholder rewards? The Glycansand Mabs alone could fund us through Immunabody amd Moditope through many human trials whilst the company continues to grow, and for anybody concerned about the next raising of funds, does it not reassure you that Vulpes know exactly what is needed and when subject to no commercial deals pending data.?

I guess I am lucky, I listen to what Inanaco, Crumbs and Ray discuss and research from that what I find interesting, rather than finding fault with every post. Very rarely do I debate with them they are better researched than me. However the posts that interest me most are the ones discussing the Oncology Market, and it is my belief Lindy is right up there with the best as our latest third platform suggests.

Must watch IMHO and CH sounds very confident

All eyes on this platform, again fitting into the ARMS scenario where our expenditure and cost of trials could easily be met by the income received from licensing. Allowing us to stand firm for our value of Immunobody and Moditope.

Given the BODs comments about the AIM market, I wonder how long it will be before Vulpes put into place our route out of it?

And we are stepping up on the newsflow, for those who care to read it.

Thanks minnabo, yes I am very excited about the future as are many of us here. Just a lot of frustration over the share price still mainly for us LTH, although many had the chance to build and average down considerably, and I haven"t seen anyone who joined us from under 4p complaining about the Share Price.

The company is teaming up with an unnamed "major player" in the world of antibodies

Scancell Holdings PLC (LON:SCLP) has signed its first collaboration deal with an unnamed “leading antibody technology company” as it bids to develop an early-stage technology created to directly kill tumour cells.

Under the terms of the agreement, the two will assess the technology in various formats including antibody-drug conjugates, where the antibody is linked to a drug; as bispecific antibodies that combine two or more cancer toxins; and as stand-alone antibody products.

Scancell’s breakthrough is called AvidiMab, which works with monoclonal antibodies that already form the basis of some very effective targeted cancer treatments.

The mAbs being developed by the AIM-listed drug developer are different, however, to the run of the mill antibody.

That’s because they target tumour-associated glycans that are associated with malignancies. The ability to hone in on these so-called TaGs is enhanced with the use of AvidiMab.

Scancell has produced a pipeline of these next-generation antibodies for use in the collaboration process.

“Our first collaboration and evaluation agreement with one of the major players in the antibody development field is a significant achievement in such a short period of time and we believe our novel AvidiMab enhanced cell killing platform has broad partnering potential," said chief executive, Dr Cliff Holloway.

Well a new website, a new third platform, and first patient enrolled, all in a week where a couple of posters have not stopped whinging!!

As if to prove up my points you respond with more bile and non truth. I simply said adding to the trial starting immediately it wouldn"t surprise me if we were enrolling patients since getting our Approval on the 25th April. The RNS was on the 19th August and hey bingo the first patient was enrolled on the same day.....................immediately. You chose to post constantly i was wrong, but it was my opinion. And you talk about the freedom of speech!!!LOL.
