Elenilto, a major mining company, has been selected by the Togolese government, following an international tender to develop a carbonated phosphate production project, said a press release of the company published on Wednesday. The country has estimated reserves of 2 billion tons that could generate revenue of about $ 28 billion. Elenilto joined the giant Wengfu Group, one of the largest Chinese companies working in the sector and phosphate fertilizers. The total investment is 1.4 billion provided to 40% by Wengfu. The consortium plans to market within 3 years 3,000,000 tonnes of concentrate phosphate rock and phosphoric acid 500,000 tons and 1.3 million tons of fertilizers. The factory could employ thousands of Togolese. Good news in the struggle of the government against unemployment. The talks on the implementation of the final agreement is expected to begin within weeks. Elenilto, a subsidiary of Engelinvest Group (real estate and mining), operates in the mining and oil activities in Liberia, Ghana, Georgia, Congo Brazzaville, Guinea, Ethiopia and Tanzania.
Where is the bridge it lives under?
Where did you find out about the meeting? I was aware that they need to meet to push this over the line. With hindsight, this was the project that should have been started first, we should haver got to miner from explorer quicker and with this being the low capex project I am surprised it wasn't.
Says a lot for sensitive news if someone is in the know!! Just shows the city is rigged, If you didn't know already.
Oil, you must have had a similar email to me, it seems we are waiting for business to return to normality out there. No-one knows when this will be which is going to hurt in the short term but its been said before the ground work has been done to lead up to this so all we can do it sit tight. There will always be a few who bail just not us or DR!
Hi guys, I think we are all lines up to go once the rubber stamp comes down. I don't have any idea on time line but my best guess will be during September. There will be nothing we can do to influence the situation it is what it is look for some heavy volume days and then we know we're close. I am sat on my sun bed in Miami typing this:-)
Yes agree the China thing is over done, I export cars there and their appetite has not waned, we send Range Rovers, Bentley and now they are asking for Modern classics. By the time they are down to 2-4% growth there will be another emerging market or 3rd world country coming out of the shadows. I can remember when Brazil was broke with hyperinflation, now look at it. If your in this share with an investment that reflects the risk reward sit tight and I feel we will get the news in good time. I am sure the board would be more communicative but there will be protocols to observe. As you mention snow balling, until the permit lands they cannot comment on any finance or of take deals as they are contingent. DR put £85k of his own money in at market a while back nothing to do with warrants or options he stepped up like a PI. I doubt there are any other PI's with that size holding, from memory he is in at 1.8p on that deal, so a director with true money on the line. Keep the faith.
Preswy1fa, The delay is more a procedural issue. We are ready and have complied with what the Togolese requires, the election slowed us up as it meant everything got put on hold. When the permits is top of the new ministers pile it well get dealt with. Just keep chanting "the stock market is the transfer of wealth from the impatient to the patient" I had Monitose shares from late 2009 to June 2011 and was down before trebling my money. I knew the fundamental company was sound and sat on my hands. They were loss making but had money in the bank and an excellent board and vision, pretty much what we have here. The resources are not going anywhere so sit back and it will come.
BJ, in the words of Warren Buffet, never test the depth of the water with both feet.
Hi Smidsy, I think he lost his shirt in some trades a way back, he makes a comment about his share holding being worth "a skateboard" his words. There is also the issue between him and his advances to someone at Ferrex being rebuffed so bruised ego and battered account has left him unable to invest. Most of the companies he picks on seem punts and I wouldn't touch, Ferrex had huge deposits all proven, it's just a matter of timing to get them out the ground.
Hi Smidsy, I think everything is linked so nothing can move until the licence confirms. As the feasibility is linked to the off take deal it will remain confidential to this party as they have first interest as I understand it. I would like to think in that basis there is no negotiations to take place, nothing has changed for either party. Let's hope news soon but DR and co are not in control of the final part of the jigsaw, I am however confident that they will have struck a good deal on the sale of the resources. Cue resident troll to bang on about missing deadlines etc..
Ask has gone out to 0.6p 2-3m shares nothing major, but if we see some 5m plus days we might be getting close.
I have the filters on, did the fish take the bait? All to easy really, I would read his replies but it's the poor diction and grammar mistakes I can't abide. Still must be difficult using Crayola on his Fisher Price laptop. Good weekend all.
I see Itellyabent has a new play thing over at KOD, as well as being spurned by DR it seems digging around he has taken a few hits which explains why he is on a crusade.
Cheers Lano, we are without stating the obvious well overdue. i guess we look for the pre news leak spike in volume and see what happens.
"I am happy where we are, I cannot give details, but am relaxed for once about the process and where we are and what the timing is." these are DR's words?
Thanks, I know several of you are in touch so he does't need all of us chasing the same info. When he tells you his flight is booked I guess something will be in the offing or look for the volume on trades to spike.
Have any of the board who email DR had any updates? Is he on the ground? I am sure his jilted lover will appear soon spouting how long it's taking.
I expect there will be little news this week, maybe some queer rumblings but nothing to get bent out of shape over. Might see a few deals go via the tradesmens entrance as Tarquin and Timmy swap notes.
Personally I don't see his drivel as he is filtered. Tick up on open on IG .65-.8p
