Oil prices are the leading indicator for today’s talks and they are falling. Expect therefore a continuing airlines rise. Both sides will be creative and motivated enough IMO enough to avoid sustained conflict.

It will be the outlook rather than the results which move the SP tomorrow ( positive results already baked in imho) . The outlook as suggested by Varadi was all about raising growth expectations - but at what cost ! Weaker load factors as markets mature will play, along with inflationary/ cost of living pressures, oil price direction a concern (Iran factor building) , forex a bit of a tailwind …… but overall significant headwinds. Expect a drop tomorrow based on outlook and not results.

Not sure I would use the rocket analogy. This announcement relates more to a capacity increase - sears still need to be filled to hit the bottom line. So time will tell and I don’t see an immediate reaction to this news although welcome.

Unfortunately caught in the down draft of the beginning of a pullback/market correction. Nice drop in oil price and further positive broker reports setting up a nice entry point before 1H results.

Profit taking before the next leg up.
