Phron - yep, markets are getting battered everywhere today. FTSE has recovered a fair bit in the last hour.
Would normally be a day to switch off and head to the pub for the afternoon, but as that's not possible a long walk might be the best idea!

Asx was halted so it would be as they were.. London dropped as it stayed open, so we should see a nice pull back to parity. Then hopefully a rise into spud and maybe a nice rise if neighbour has good news.
"The decision gives the Biden administration more time to develop its longer-term plans on oil and gas leases that could involve a broader ban. The order does not impact drilling and activity on existing leases and permits."
Chicago Tribune: "The Interior Department order did not limit existing oil and gas operations under valid leases, meaning activity won’t come to a sudden halt on the millions of acres of lands in the West and offshore in the Gulf of Mexico where much drilling is concentrated. Its effect could be further blunted by companies that stockpiled enough drilling permits in Trump’s final months to allow them to keep pumping oil and gas for years."
