This all depends on the news flow Northern. They did promise a news rich period and so if this forthcoming over the next few weeks, and is positive, your target may be realised earlier than expected.

As for Auctus, Zephyr is one of their clients and so I expect the target prices and related research predictions they offer can be seemingly inflated. Zephyr are paying them for their services. It’s my general guess that even the websites such as Proactive Investors, who seem to have conducted interviews in the past with Zephyr, actually charge them for setting these up and promoting them and indeed other companies. Separately, for example, Vox Markets state ‘ Vox Markets may receive payment from companies mentioned for enhanced profiling or publication presence’. And they have done webinars in the past with Zephyr. Ultimately, it’s the material results that count. I do not know if this is also the case with Malcy’s blog.

Reading through the notes, before the last CPR, which was heralded as great news by the company at the time, on April 25th the share hit 7.65. The RNS concerning the CPR was released on the 26th of April 2022 and the share dropped to 5.9 by the end of the week on the 29th of April. It did recover in Jan 2023 to a peak of 7.25.

18 October 2023Greentown Federal 28-11 well update

The 28-11 well forms part of the Paradox Basin asset and infrastructure package acquired by Zephyr in October 2022. Historically, the well produced over 0.36 billion cubic feet ("BCF") of gas and 93,000 barrels of oil ("BO") prior to being shut-in due to a pipeline shut-down. Since then, pressure at the wellhead has increased due to the natural recharge of the Cane Creek reservoir.

Over the last three months, Zephyr's operations team has restarted production of the well to reduce wellhead pressure and to produce oil in volumes suitable for sale. The well has averaged circa 50 BO per day, with a small amount of associated natural gas being flared. Due to tight monthly flaring limits, the well is limited to roughly ten days of production per month.

Now that the wellhead pressures have been reduced, Zephyr plans to utilise the workover rig currently at the State 36-2 well (once operations at that pad have been completed) to commence well work at the 28-11 well. These operations will include the installation of a new pump.

Yes of course Northern that’s a fair point. If the good news comes rolling in as promised, then the trajectory will be an upwards one. Although, I think we also need to bear in mind that over the past few years the markets have been subdued in general and that has to be factored in.

Surely if they could begin the production process in line with their projected plans, they should be around 12-15p. Although looking at the RNSs and the posts over the years, it’s clear the gap between promise and realisation remains an issue and so based on that it’s best to be realistic about prospects until they can bridge this. Without wishing to be impolite, the posts below illustrate that, although looking at what they promised, it’s understandable to harbour such expectations.

would people think that a rough doubling in price to about 15p by the end of next year would be a possibilty. I'm just trying to be realistic but would be interested to hear what others think.

I remember posting around the beginning of December 24 Jan 2023 17:12

when there was a lot of speculation and I suggested possibly best to come back in about 3 months to see how things are especially regarding the sp. I still think that is the case. By then we will have a plan for 36-2, news 're the 16-2 drill and an update 're the non-op assets. So, I'm not getting too concerned about single day price movements but by the end of February am hoping for at least 10p.

I think I would say I would be happy with 20-25p. I say this because the sp hasn't moved as much as I thought it would. So I 'm thinking personally it's a trade off of so and how long it takes to get there that determines my target sp. Purely imho.

I’ve been looking at this and also some oil shares I invested in a few years ago. I note from the rnss that it was consolidated a while back but that hasn’t helped. Google says it was 7 p some years back which post -consolidation should be the equivalent of more than 60-70 p at today,’s prices, but it’s only 12p. So it’s certainly undervalued but the question is whether it will ever see those levels again.

My average is 1.36! Hoping I can get my money back one day
