I also believe if we go for the extra fund raise that is a terrible sign. Why give away 2p shares with a guaranteed return if oil is shown?
They have access to funds even if it means a delay in the CERP asset developments. In the next 2 days we will know if they go for the extra fund raise.
I will still hold for results either way but if no money is raised they I will buy more.

Doyezee, hopefully just a short term drop and a opportunity to make money again.
The pessimist side of me would say that this will effect cash flow and more money will need to be raised.
They seem to have a plan which involved a slush fund for some additional issues so hopefully this will not be the case.
The sooner they can start delivering the Valkyrie the better. They probably have a few hundred million to collect once the cars are delivered and that would be of great help in the coming months.

Unfortunately I think it will be a blood bath tomorrow. Schools closing and exams being cancelled will bring longer term fears to the market.
Likely the lockdown will be extended to the end of February. I am speaking first hand owning a car dealership in saying this will be bad news.

The JR really seems to have no legs and will not be an issue to get results in my view.
Even if we went to a referendum upon striking commercial quantities of oil I am very sure the Bahamian people would say yes to Billions of dollars.

Absolutely agree Harry. They touted the better funding options and at the time it was a good move to get this drill over the line but “funding options” shouldn’t mean just giving away more shares at rock bottom prices with guaranteed returns.

The situation of a duster within 60 days and then dumping shares would not be acceptable and would be the responsibility of the board and would definitely lead to them being removed..

It’s only a bit of wind. Nothing serious. 30-40 knots is common at certain times. This will not worry the Drill ship

Rob, part the reason is that I have other places to put the money but also I have been through a crazy ride with this one and to walk away with a big win (£600k profit) seemed impossible a few months back.
The other reason was that I feel that £20 mark may be a hard hump to get over and with a 700% increase in market cap in 11 months is one hell of a recovery. Without showing a profit I feel we may go stale for a while and who knows how deep the residual effects of Covid will be.
Honestly I will be happy to see the share price keep rising for Aston. I will be happy to see the company be successful for the workforce and the UK as well as you guys.
I may jump back in if the opportunity presents itself as I feel the Valkyrie in 2021 and the mid engine line will bring some great results in a few years time.

Hello everyone, sad and happy day for me. I know I said I wouldn’t talk financials but this is the end of my AML journey for now.
I have sold the remainder of my holdings. 87,000 @ £19.40. I want to thank everyone who has participated on this board (for good and bad), I spent a lot of time during lockdown 1 here with many of you and I appreciated the interactions.
I will still keep an eye on what is going on and will continue to be an Aston customer. I still have my Valhalla deposit down and look forward to what the future holds for Aston.

We are currently at around £10 old share price using the market cap maybe a little higher. I bought some at £1.30 before the rights issue so 700% rise in 10 months. That is a strong recovery

Just read through again, the business days is correct and under BPC’s control to get the extra funding. As I said if any positive signs are coming through then I would assume the extra funding would not be taken.
This will be when the share price starts to accelerate. I see this being around the 5th or 6th depending on the business days definition over this period.

I didn’t notice the business days. If that is the case then the board would be more likely to know if any early signs are coming through.
