We've had months to sell in Africa but nothing and now you think it's a gold mine of an opportunity.

Exactly, GDR have been arrogant while other companies have got on with business.

Just a few great sales guys would have put GDR on a far better footing than they currently are.

They will say that the EU is not our target market but the approval helps get other approvals, well they need to realise that sales help get other sales as the product will be being used in the real world and the clients can be referenced if need be when going for bigger clients or orders.

This is not hard to do and GDR are making things hard for themselves by not doing the simple things.

One question for the agm would be how many enquiries from the EU have we had but we have then knocked them back due to them not being our target market.

If the answer is we've had a number of enquiries but knocked them back, then that is poor as they are basically turning revenue away and likewise, if they've had no enquiries, then that's a worry as why is there no interest in the test.

Considering they've made no sales, they are not in a position to have target markets, they should be taking what they can get and build upon it from there.

Bigbench, how is news piling up, if there was any, it would be released. If this is well north of 50p by the end of Jan, that will be the first time in six months you've been rght about one of your price projections.

People now seem.to think sales are nailed on for Africa due to the new strain, we haven't been able to get any sales for the existing strain so what makes people think DB will now do the business.

Any difficulty AGM questions will be avoided, they have failed to deliver to date, it's as simple as that.

Gold standard test that does not seem able to sell. You could use the excuse that they just got going with Covid and that's why they missed wave one. Wave two has been missed due to no approvals. What excuse will be used for possibly missing wave three.

There's nothing wrong with selling to smaller fish while you try and land a shark.

But they do have money in the bank that they could use if there were any nailed on orders coming their way.

The UK and countries around Europe are spending hundreds of millions on tests but these are not our target markets, why not. Did GDR decide these where not target markets or did these markets decide that GDR did not fit the bill for what ever reason.

Why would you not want to sell millions of tests on your doorstep?

LT, can you tell me how missing dates, not updating share holders and them making zero sales is me underestimating their intelligence, maybe you over estimate it as the facts to date speak for themselves.

As I have said before, I am a holder here but please LT, don't be blind to their failings to date, no one an say DB is doing a great job as the facts say otherwise.

LT14, your argument of there is a lot to be done before sales is losing merit. They've had many months to get things done and also over promised and undelivered along the way and also failed to keep share holders updated.

Why have they sold nothing in six months despite having some approvals. GDR have missed opportunities, plain and simple.

LT14, you can't say things are ticking along as detailed when timelines are missed.

Would you say that since they developed the test that they have delivered on what they have said. They cant say sales next month, approvals next month, orders very soon and then months later be saying the same thing.

Lloyd, that's the point I've been making, it's far easier to sell the product if you have proven sales. This is why they should have done some low level sales to build the client base and establish the product. I would be interested to know if they've turned any low level enquiries down due to concentrating on the big collaborations as that would be rather arrogant in my opinion.

What's happened to the sale that was very, very close, you can't make statements and then go quiet hoping that no one will question it.

He needs to get that first sale out there to restore someone confidence and show that he can deliver what he promises.

If you have a top end product, it should not be this difficult to get sales from it.

I feel sorry for the people with blind faith here.

There's been no sales, there's been almost no approvals but yet some seem to think things are progressing well here. This will be progressing but the silence is a concern and people shouldn't pretend otherwise.

They are clearly struggling to get sales and this could be for any number of reasons, lack of approvals, possibly failed approvals, price point to high, lack of trust in the product, lack of sales acumen.

If they could get a sale in, I feel others would follow but the first sale needs to come to restore peoples confidence here.

If they have and it's a very big if, it must be a very small amount as why would you not RNS it if it was half decent.

I believe they have sold none as their strategy is to rely on a couple of big opportunities whilst numerous smaller ones pass them by.

150p is do-able with sales but I just fear they are missing the boat here.

Other providers have their tests out there and are building relationships and in turn producing revenue while we have a very close order that has gone quiet, and all our eggs in a few baskets. They need to change the approach and start delivering what they have been saying for the past six months.

LT14, how long will you give them before you start to question things.

You can do a hell of a lot before you sign a contract and GDR are falling short on the sales strategy.

To not have one confirmed order after this length of time is a concern, people can dress it up however they want but there's no denying they have so far over promised and under delivered.

I'm concerned clients are not queuing up to buy the tests given how good they are claimed to be.

At first it was June for sales, then people championed Q4, then sales by Christmas and now people feel sales in the New Year.

This could get to 260p but they need to up their game with regards to sales.

You can't knock the products, they are first rate but this is not transferring into sales. Either the price point is wrong or they simply struggle with the sales pitch but after 6 months of having a market leading test, it would be interesting to know why clients are not banging on their door, or if any have, why no sales to them.

The lack of sales gripes me as I've spent extensive time in developing and implementing sales strategies and just a few tweaks to GDR's would have seen them in far better shape today.

You shouldn't dismiss lower value opportunities, you never know when you may need them in the future.
