Can anyone confirm if this is a Real Estate Investment Trust . I was going to buy some of these with Barclays but it give indication that it was a REIT and give indicative management costs. Thanks

I think the following from Invesopedia is more accurate. I noticed the pre-close statement was two months before final results last year

I think the Pre-Close statement marks the start of the closed period and from then on Directors are not allowed to buy.

Malco. Lots of companies go negative when results are released. The results are good, but the market was told they were going to be good before hand and as such were not a big surprise. Hope that gives you some reassurance.

A long time ago when I was in your position, someone on this website gave me some advice.

They told me to buy a copy of "The Zulu Principle " by Jim Slater. It is an old book but the principles are still there today.

Someone else told me to subscribe to " Stockopedia".

They were by far the best pieces of advice I have ever had when it comes to shares.

I advise you to do the same.

Thanks for your response So were the shares you bought in an Investment Trust I tried to buy inside my isa and had to read some warnings and there seemed to be some costs associated which seemed expensive. Are you with Barclays ?

Hi Can anyone clarify a query for me ? I have tried to purchase some of these as shares in my investment ISA. The account I have is with Barclays. When searching in the shares there was no sign of the company. I spoke with Barclays who stated that they have to be purchased as an Investment Trust. Stockopedia and Investors Chronicle do not give this impression. Can anyone confirm it this is the case. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Hi This is a subject that is raised very often. Unfortunately the buys and sells are purely an estimate based on price and spread. They are not accurate and can be very misleading. The volume is the only thing that is accurate. The old site had an asterix next to the volumes and a note explaining that they are only an estimate. Hope this answers your question.. Will not do anything to help the share price though.

Riffgo Can you let me know where you got that he earnings is expected to drop buy 12%. According to Stockopedia eps is estimated to increase at a rate of 9%. Stockopedia also as a traling twelve month figure of eps of 24% ( hence beating expectations) I cannot see any bad news for the share.
