All too often there is no profit and only the bod benefit financially--but the main point is a limited company exists to make a profit for shareholders--and only that reason--whether the bod have a good business plan or are crooked is a judgement call for each shareholder

Wrong----Companies exist to make profit for their shareholders--in theory at least--yes-in theory at least---so if a company lists on Aim the beneficiary in theory is the shareholder--
A sale of this number of shares would almost certainly be bound in with a warranty that the seller was not aware of anything that might be detrimental to the share price
