It's basically a letter of intent right? Formal contracts still need to be agreed, this is basically what the RNS would say, just more hype.

Why would GDR make a deal with a competitor? Not sure what you are asking here.

Genomandix were actively attempting to derail GDR's test since it directly competes and is is better than theirs. They kept raising concerns during the NICE engagement

Perhaps David is their landlord and he'd rather see them go under so he can get a new tenant in at a higher rent price, lol!

All jokes aside, I was truly torn on which way to vote, I mean, what are are the other options, if any? I decided to go with no, purely on the basis that we really need a fundamental shift in thinking at the top, so far down anyway that I don't expect to recover much if at all.

I guess they can't say anything else other than "expected" since we aren't talking confirmed multi-year contracts. Everything so far seems to be just ad-hoc sales either direct or through supply chains.

If the burn rate has been reduced by that much then GDR could extend the runway further if sales start picking up. Hopefully it will be enough to not need additional funding.

Like a lot of people here, I'm so far under water it's not worth cashing out. Will write it off and check back in the next 12-24 months. Average is 2.6p, I'm not averaging down until I start seeing some more positive news

Why would they buy now when they can buy at the discount due any day now?

Evidence generation for an FDA application can take anywhere from months to several years, depending on the type of application. No point in applying until the required timeframe has passed

The failure of their COVID test was due to a number of factors

1) Time to US market resulting in FDA no longer reviewing lab based PCR tests

2) Most countries preferring cheaper at home LFTs instead of lan based PCR

3) Labs already embedded with PCR testing processes and would be difficult to retrofit.

It's a same theirs didn't take off as it offered a much higher scale and accuracy than anything else offered but was ultimately too late to market in the sea of other offerings.

It's not really a fair comparison compared to the 2 tests they are trying to bring to market now

You make a great point there, consolidation would bring us back over the 1.5p threshold so they can dilute without a vote.

This will probably happen, hopefully this will be the last one if they hit the break even point next year

My average is the same. Been in and out since COVID, lots of potential here once the dilutions end

Perhaps they could even consider some IP for a flat fee and % of sales commission?

Wondering on people's views of ongoing funding issues and methods of raising cash.

1) Surely to go private, they would need a private enquiry firm to buyout current shareholders, they certainly can't do this on their own. Who would even consider this this at the current cash burn rate with sometime in 2026 to break even?

2) Futher share dilution. Assume since the current SP is under the 1.5p threshold, they would need shareholder majority approval?

3) Loans?
