Nice to see some positive reports and interviews on people returning to watch films at the Cinema on BBC Breakfast this morning. Me and the Wife have been 6 times now in the last few weeks... and always felt safe... cant wait to watch Tenet....

Hi all, imo we should all be feeling a lot more comfortable in our holding in Cine, i expect the chinese to increase their holding, cinemas opening in the US and tills will be ringing again, Tenet showing soon and a big backlog of grear films to follow, and court case not until Sept 2021.... happy days, the only way is up! Gla and dyor.....

That was exactly my point , and should give us all some comfort that a large entity sees a brighter future in Cineworld and is willing to invest millions in its shares....

IMO.. I think going forward we are going to see a lot more western shares owned by Chinese companies in different sectors, as they look to diversify from traditional industries and influence western culture from other avenues...

Key word with the Chinese is "investment" i dont think they are not doing this just for a punt... or a bit of fun.... i predict a further increase to their holding before perhaps a takeover attempt... Melrose did this with GKN.... imo of course.... next week could be interesting.... gla and dyor..
