Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Hi Cossy,
I also read that. My thoughts are if we can get a group of us to agree to email them with the same email literally twice or three times EACH, then we can kick these guys into action.
It may not work, but it might....
You can ignore a single shareholder emailing for information. You cannot ignore many of them emailing.
Would anyone here be interested in doing this? These people are playing silly buggers with a lot of PI money and I don’t like it. If anyone is interested please say so here and we can put together a detailed email to all send in over and over until we get a respectable response.
Does anyone think it may be worth a handful of us sending a well compiled email to PR/whoever we can get hold of within the company and demand an update on various things?
AH
NRR shippings
TEO progress/application outcome
Thoughts? It’s getting increasingly difficult to stay positive about this share and I’ve only held for just under a year I can’t begin to imagine what those who have been here 12 years are going through.
The lack of communication is disgusting. We must be able to do something if we group together?
“ Due to the impact of ongoing Covid-19 related lockdowns on financial markets, the Company now anticipates completing the full project financing package in H1 2021, with construction commencing shortly thereafter. This timeframe will continue to be subject to the ongoing impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic. Each part of the project finance package remains conditional until all components are in place with a simultaneous closing targeted.”
Sit tight, don’t be scared into selling, everything is progressing sensibly and competently and patience will be rewarded.
That’s my take on this RNS.
GLA I don’t post much but I read daily and wish every holder the best.
Agreed nothing has changed fundamentally and I, like a few others, have also used this opportunity to buy at a nice price.
Just need patience, there is definitely a wider market sell off/volatility so people need to remember why they invested as a few others have stated also.
These guys are a bunch of clowns. There was never going to be a way out of renewable energies/EV and they let go of an amazing holding and a great opportunity to lead the way.
They deserve to pay more to buy back in.
Lucando,
Apologies I was referring to the price back in the mid 2000’s and the below is where I got my information from. Regarding the price spike in May/June 2015 my view is that this was purely down to the Kun-Manie Production Licence being awarded and registered a few weeks later which is pretty standard stuff for junior minors. The price spike will have been not much more than “hype” at “the next big thing” without really knowing the full roadmap to production and making it a profitable business - hence why it only sustained a higher SP for around 6/7 weeks and then dropped as people who rode the hype sold out for profit when they realised it would be many many years before anything actually happens from a mining perspective. My previous post info sources are below:
22 September 2008 RNS: Holdings in Company:
https://amurminerals.com/content/wp-content/uploads/Shareholding_22_Sept_2008.pdf
“Amur Minerals Corporate (AIM: AMC) announces that it was notified in writing on 17 September 2008 that RAB Capital plc’s indirect shareholding in the Company comprised 25,234,159 ordinary shares, representing 20.73% of the issued share capital.”
So at the time of the above RNS in 2008 there were 25,234,159/0.2073 = 121,727,732 shares issued
Going back a little further -
3 September 2007 RNS: Interim Results for six months up to 30 June 2007:
https://amurminerals.com/content/wp-content/uploads/Interim_results_2007-Final.pdf
“Additional Financing
In April, Amur Minerals placed 15.5 million new Ordinary Shares at a price of 18p per Ordinary Share to raise approximately £2.79 million gross. The funds invested will support the continued development of both the Kun-Manie nickel copper project and exploration of the Anadjakan copper-gold project, as well as other selected projects in the Russian Far East. Following the financing, Amur Minerals has 101,703,938 shares outstanding (fully diluted, 110,995,394). Amur is confident it will continue to identify, acquire and finance high quality projects such as Kun-Manie and Anadjakan.”
As before apart from the RNS comments which are directly from the publications everything else is my opinion. I do believe with Adam Habib leading the way now this company is going to make some very shrewd moves which will hopefully benefit and reward all share holders old and new, but as a few here have said it will need some patience in what is now a world which craves instant gratification.
Hi Lucando,
It previously hit 40p with around 101m shares in issue, bringing market cap to around £40m, there are now 1.37bn shares issued so it’s not as simple as the “it’s hit 40p before so it should do it again” logic because that would value the business at over £500m which eventually we all hope will be the case but right now without all these variables secured such as binding off take / TEO completion/ funding for the mine I don’t really see as being possible.
Maybe once all the above is in place....!
Like Westie50 I’m holding both here and HZM who are further along in their journey as a junior miner and they are valued in the £90m-100m range at the moment so AMC does have some way to go yet.
As always above comments are my views and you should always do your own research before investing...
Agreed Backspace. Once manufacturers start rushing to secure supplies it will get interesting. We’ll probably see some manufacturers signing multiple deals with different miners who are able to commit to varying amounts shipped.
Also the end of the article states that the deal is dependent on supplies being delivered starting between July 2022 and July 2023, so Tesla are getting serious about their future supply in a few years time. Given that Araguaia is aimed at stainless steel market and Vermelho is more geared towards EV market, if Tesla are looking to ramp up production of their batteries in 2022-2023 they will need a supplier who can start delivering at that time. That puts HZM in a good position doesn’t it? (Genuine question).
“ Piedmont Lithium (PLL.AX) on Monday said it signed a five-year deal with Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) to supply high-purity lithium ore mineral to the U.S. electric carmaker, prompting an 83% surge in the Australian lithium miner's shares.
The initial five-year agreement implies that Piedmont will supply about a third of its planned 160,000-tonnes-per-year spodumene concentrate produce from its deposits in North Carolina. Both companies have an option to extend the deal for another five years.”

This is great news to read to be honest. Good to see Tesla taking their supply into their own hands as indicated by Elon recently. Let’s hope they are looking at HZM for a lot of their nickel!
Have a good day all
Also they are planning to build their own cathode factory in North America and they will need nickel for it - although they said they want it from North America but it’s still good for Nickel price.....and in turn Nickel related shares.
Very interesting times!
Evening all,
Tuned in to battery day as I’m sure a handful of us are. Just a quick question....I thought I’d check the SP on the Canadian market as I’m assuming it runs longer until their closing time, so evening time for us? I’ve just seen the below....am I misunderstanding something or has the SP jumped? I’ve checked a few sites and they’re all showing a significant rise but not sure if I’m misreading this? Even when I convert to £ it makes the SP around 10p. Please someone tell me I’m not losing my mind lol.

I hate to say this but I feel like that is likely. Positive nickel news is all well and good but we really need the confirmed finance deal being signed off before we go up more I think. Or confirmation of an off take/bank funding whatever it is.
This strong consolidation at 7p/100mcap range is very reassuring though I must say.
If no news between now and then, then I agree.
If anything substantial comes before then, news of off take/deal with Tesla or others (just as an example) then JM will have a lot of new info to go through. But otherwise if nothing lands and no meaningful RNS by 23rd then yeah I agree it won’t have much impact on the SP I don’t think.
All imo.
