Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
They aren’t the directors referred to here
Perhaps look at what they paid for them before describing them as pathetic. The SP wasn’t always 1p! It’s interesting to see that investors would prefer to see the company fail as opposed to continue lending to customers in difficult circumstances. The loan sharks must be rubbing their hands
They have to have board directors. I’m amazed they got people like this and that can only bode well
Who do you believe left?
If they were going to raise additional funds through a share issue I think they could have readily done that with the current structure. With Shelby being a subsidiary of MCL it won’t be practical to lend to it directly for the growth being seen. I read this funding requirement as more likely via their existing lenders hence the need to restructure. There are also many other options available rather than it’s certain to be through new shares
Not sure where you see the complication. The TU shows the digital business is growing exponentially and the current structure doesn’t meet its needs to continue that growth. The TU shows numbers we have been waiting too long for but great to see it’s finally happening so much so the business has to restructure to fund it
Agree. In Paul’s recent update I think he said complaints were easing off. Always a risk if they are last man standing but if there isn’t enough to feed on the CMC’s will look elsewhere. If nothing has materially changed on complaints (either way) then they don’t have to say anything
Here we go. Real momentum building as others fall away and people want to spend
Since the debacle with the restructure of the agents a few years back it’s never made money. Add to that it was being attacked by the CMCs because in trying to recover from the agent issue they lent aggressively. Losses, lots of payouts and FCA attention isn’t a good mix
Hope you are right. One company in redress. FCA concerned about other 2 and looking. 3 companies in redress spells BUST! Questions about covenant breaches, refinance only if FCA are happy. Teetering!!
I see it as a race. Things look neck and neck at the moment with Amigo. They are both going but which one will fall over the cliff edge first
I’m seeing 7m shares traded. Somethings afoot - finally!
Think it will be a very difficult journey. If the FCA are looking across the business for the same issues as in the guarantor business then they are not doing that without reason. Only a matter of time!
Take a look at the You Tube video. Lots of hints business since year end looking very good
Good watch. Covers some year end data we have already seen but interestingly gives some nuggets about current performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MMubLIOfjE&t=2208s
Why consolidate when others are shooting themselves in the foot. People will still want to borrow so get them direct rather than take on others problems
No we have the AGM on the 22nd. I’d be surprised if we didn’t hear something then
