Kjn2.. are you mentioning about the original offer release or any new release which I am not aware of? I am not sure what makes many think Tosca hasn't got enough funds in place? Even to buy Mediclinic shares if needed? I think Medi is in better place to sell or hold it!!!

In simple 232p offer was declined because of this Tosca deal of 250p. Both biggest Mediclinic and Tosca are in agreement for the board to agree the 250 deal. After all this time of talking I strongly believe Tosca must have some plans in place for funding.. otherwise they won't offer this... for these reasons I strongly believe the deal will go through and possibly a firm offer will be on the table by this Friday... IMHO... dyor...

Most retail traders here lost money on holding shares... But be cautious,,, we lost money being long,,, the share price is too low,,, there are calls to short,,, don't loose again shorting this stock at this very low levels... This will cause double pain.. IMO the damage is done unless new bad news comes from board... May be a very slow recovery from here is possible or any takeover...

He should be fired for good... How many missed opportunities... A bit of common sense should have prevailed all this nonsense...

Bridge point is out as well... All out.. Lessons learned... A bit too late..

It's a good article. Thanks for sharing.. My take is the offer will not be the fair value for company,, but premium to today's share price... So if a deal is made I think it's around 270p.. That's good enough for me...

Thanks very much for your honest opinion — I really appreciate it. I had a similar experience with Royal Mail – International Distributions Services takeover situation. The share price was dragged lower and lower, then suddenly a takeover offer came in at around +40%.

I can see a similar pattern here. The share price seems to be pushed down, and it feels like the board is comfortable keeping it at lower levels so that an acceptable offer can be reached. I think that makes sense — if the price is too high, it may not attract private equity interest.

I do believe an offer will come. As you said, it may appear when none of us are expecting it!

Just my opinion — everyone should do their own due diligence.

Honestly,, how many you got so far? I have seen you are throwing big bucks every time... And only less than 2% is owned by retail investors here... The rest is all mutual funds and institutions...

I am buying as well... But running out of streem...

I disagree, if a company name isn't discussed on the media they can be in the bidding process without PUSU. So there is a possibility of more than two in the bidding process... It's not great the extension is given for a whole month... Means not may parties are queuing up to buy the company... Let's be positive.. For me anything above 250p is a good deal... I am expecting a decent offer... Yes they got 1.2 billion in property, they also got loans, lease etc...
