Lagarde seems very reluctant to make any move, if you ask me. If the ECB does raise rates (as you say by 50 basis points) then she was probably dragged to the table.
I seen her interviewed on a TV show not so long ago (it was more to do with women in positions of power, etc.) and she certainly seemed quite happy to receive the praise heaped on her but as soon as the conversation turned to banking she shut up like a clam. Says enough, doesn't it.

I'd say it's off the charts. I'd advise anyone travelling to Ireland to bring a tent with them just in case... and perhaps look into donkey hire just to be 100% sure of things. Anyone know where to find a donkey these days! :-)
