I do think this is a good investment. Im looking to buy this. Its a long term investment. I just think some people here dont understand the how long it takes to get things signed off. Buying on spikes is always wrong. Thats all im saying.

I would love to start buying at 0.06-0.04... if the market gives me a chance.

If i was the lender then i would be very happy with my investment. Im earning +$160,000 per month, plus have a 1st charge over the assets. Why would i change this?

The board can find someone to replace the lender but anyone else who wants to replace $12 million high risk CLN will want things Progressed. They will not offer money at this stage. I wouldn't.

I invested in an oil company in Nigeria that had secured approvals through strong government connections at the time. After that government lost the election, the situation completly changed. It has now been over 15 years and the matter still hasn’t been resolved. The company still holds the assets but the legal disputes have never ended. As a result, the company has been taken off the market, and I don’t believe I will ever recover my investment.

We were offered 2p per share but it was rejected. The stock price was 20p when it was removed from the market.

You dont understand how things work. You use family connections then its game over. When the next party comes in they will pull all the contracts. It happens often in Asia. So best to take the slow and long route.

Why would the lender cut interest rate from 20%? The lender has 1st charge on the assets. Why give away your advantage?

Unless the board can find someone else to replace the lender for CLN. I dont think that will happen anytime soon. Its too risky for someone to give away $12 million. The board needs to get government approvals first.

There will be no news for weeks OR even months. You will be stuck and this will keep drifting down to my target .05p.

CLN restructuring if thats even possible and government approval will take months to complete. Its not easy work.

I sent my message through the company website and also emailed an address I found in an old RNS announcement.

The board owns over 30% of the company so im sure they want this moving up more then me.

I will not post here anymore. I had a small position here and i sold out today. I dont mean to deramp.

MrH_m, came to HMI BB and posted about EME so i had to reply. I dont think he understands the risk EME carries. lol!

I do think the company has great potential but i think you would need to give it time, at least 12-18 months. Once i build my position here then I would hold for at least unti Q3 2027. When i buy small position and i see a spike on the news then i will sell out. That's just me. I think there is enough time for me to buy back in lower. Im not in an rush.

Answer my questions. I bet you will be crying when SP is at 0.07 again next week. Smart investors will not buy this stock on spike. The loan sits at around US$9.8m (last interim report) and carries a 20% annual interest rate after the 2023 amendment. Its growing fast and how will EME going to pay for it? If there are more delays then its game over. You cant just talk your way out of this.

This stock is great for trading, buy low, sell high.

Not for long term investment. Not for buying on spikes.

I think CLN is the biggest risk. The company is adding roughly US$160k–165k of interest every single month to the balance. How much cash does EME have? How will they pay this loan thats growing at 20%!!!

So i would sell the news and look to buy at lows again!!

Its good news today! This was expected. But everyone calling this Empyrean RNS a “game changer” needs to chill out and actually read the numbers. The real question is the CLN. The lender has a first charge over the company. Do you know what that means? Am i reading correctly? The CLN is at 20% so the loan is costing us approx £2 million in just interest? Wow!! Correct me if im wrong!

From the last interim report:

Current liabilities were over US$12m. Convertible loan notes alone were close to US$10m and continue to accrue interest. So there is still a potential US$12m dispute with CNOOC hanging in the background.

Now look at what this deal actually delivers. Empyrean only receives 8.5% of payments made to WNEL. That means roughly:

US$425k now (from the US$5m instalment),

US$340k in 30–45 days,

and US$595k only when production starts — currently targeted for Q3 2027.

Even if everything goes perfectly, that’s around US$765k near term. This is against millions in liabilities.

Where do they get the cash from? more placing? How much cash does EME have left?

Im asking serious questions here. Most people here will just pump and ignore these numbers. But its good to know the risk.

i'm not buying as I think it will get sold down again. The of placing is too high.

My issue with EME has been the CLN. The +$10 million in loans at 20% is the problem. Plus the lender has first charge. They can take the company if EME cant pay. Today's RNS just brings in around $750k in total. Its not enough so im assuming more placing coming soon.
