hi Nath,
your taxable CGT position will be determined how you hold these shares/ what your gain is etc.
ISA = no
pension/SIPP = no
SAYE/SIP = you will have to check
CIA/GIA/trust - yes but subject to all sort of factors
CTF/JISA - you will have to check.
i am not a tax accountant under any circumstance- as always DYOR.
A, B, or C please.
A for me. just retired at 55 and 3/4.
cash. these holdings are in my childrens's pensions.
given all the comments on this forum and today's RNS what would you accept the future as
A- a quiet life so that this company can carry on as BAU and therefore give us in due course, the holy grail of investing- a (rising ) dividend an rising SP, or
B- a special dividend for income purposes and keep the rump investment ( which may give us A as well), or
C- a full blown bid and therefore a get out clause as a capital gain(hopefully).
just for fun.
any-one else keeping an eye on the GGP.L and EUA.l share prices?
hi peeps, who on earth buys just 269 shares for £12 at 11:23:12?

i understand. they are teenagers so plenty of time. i want to give them the option of having an independent SIPP and be able to take the benefits earlier ( if the govt permits) before any company/state pension they will have. i will manage it until they are confident about money decisions.
