Stumbled on this...I'm sure somebody would have posted this in December, but I must missed it (I had 5 hospital appointment's that month, so I do have an excuse!) - but just in case anyone missed it, a good summary by Max. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WiGbyf9R18&t=17s
Just wondering if that 50k share seller is still at it, as mentioned about a week ago by someone…eg 35k & 15k within a few minutes this morning. Useful when I got in a few weeks ago, as I was matching all the £50k sells over 3 days with buys – the faster I purchased, the more came on , which was handy at the time, but how many more have they got or am I just imagining it now?
Topcatz – Yes, for some reason I am drawn to this company – has +/- points. I like to be anonymous, but as well as share dealing, I was in finance-for many years was involved in setting up of one of the new science parks in one of the best-known university cities in 80’s/90’s. Half the time, I didn’t understand what the boffins were going on about! Instead, it was gut feeling and assessed their position just on their ability/character/qualifications etc and not so much the product –I used to have to pretend I knew what they were showing me and just say ‘Jolly good’ at the end! These guys are similar, very, very clever people, almost lost in their own projects – some with huge potential…who knows! Dealt with these types before, incredibly honest, decent, but simply so focused, they are a little weak in fulfilling their duties as directors – the existing shareholders (who after all own the business) seem to be overlooked when it comes to raising funds, effectively being diluted each time funds are required. Are they focused enough on getting a good return for risks we are taking or is it just to produce the product just for the good of humanity and never mind the return? It’s OK if the pie, suddenly becomes massive and I suppose that’s the gamble – not sure what it is, but something inside me says stick with it! Should that oversight effectively put us on notice re other weaknesses/how many more dilutions are coming? – No, there’s something I like, but just can’t put my finger on it – perhaps I should be humming the theme to Willy Wonka and that magic ticket whilst writing this…Oooh, I don’t know!!!
Oh don’t be, it’s not a problem, keeps me entertained and enjoy it!! – been trading for 40 years, back to the time you had to phone an order thru to your own allocated London Broker with fax confirmation, pre the Big bang – mine was Sternberg, Thomas Clark…or something like that – then there were all the privatisations , like gas, TSB etc in the 80’s – I used to apply in all the families names (all but the cat!) – 12 different names at one stage – sold them day one making £200 ago – seemed a lot at the time, used it all to put down the deposit on my first 3 bedroom detached house at a huge price of £29k!! In and out of mainly banks, options etc. since and made good money over the decades – calculated gambling or I like to think so!! – Everybody, just invest what you can afford to lose and don’t go too wild – if you can’t sleep at night, you are in too deep!! – Now I sound like one of those old gits!!! : 0
Feeling a bit smug now! – after a year out of all shares due to health reasons (TBH thought I was a goner and liquidated all and completed tax returns to save the family the trouble), returned 2 weeks ago on a smaller scale after been given the green light for the time being and its all kicked off – perhaps you were all awaiting for my return? :) Anyway, its put a smile on my face this morning!
Yes, done the multi bag routing before…heads she wins, tails I lose – Win, extra gifts/holidays…lose, the stick comes out, but not in a ‘hot’ way!!! Maybe I’ll keep quiet as I know flowers simply won’t cut it this time!! Anyway, it would be interesting how any of you lady traders out there placate your other halves…may be worth hearing from a different perspective!
May be down to a large order or it could be the traders topping up their float of shares after a heavy buying session. Between them, they hold a working stock to be able to fulfil smaller instant auto trades immediately quoting a figure. However, as I found out last week, if your order exceeds their float, they then raise the price to trigger limit sell orders held between them to fulfil a large order – hence the price at the time was 19p, but I was offered 20.75p, which I declined, instead buying over a few days. As there were a lot of buys yesterday, my guess is that the dealers were topping up their float to a working level……Hands up, I did buy a few more myself – buying was the easy bit, but I’ve yet to tell the other half…any ideas re excuse would be appreciated!!!
Over the last year been occasionally having a read, but not joining in - I seem to remember purchasing some at 5p at one stage - tried to get in over the last few days, but market very tight and max purchase was tiny - pushed the traders yesterday and was offered 20.75p, so declined - but as a few people sold today, managed to slip in at a reasonable price on quote and deal
Hi all, after nearly a year’s absence (due to health issues), thought I would make a return – only on a small scale, otherwise my other half said I would get a slap! – so the 100,000 share purchase is down to me, but is my limit – told to keep rest in safe unit trusts – good to see there are still a few of the old names on here.

"fag packet calculations”. I haven’t heard that expression since the 1980’s when my boss slap me for guessing figures..that as well accusing me of ‘fag packet banking’…makes me reminisce about the good old days when everything had to be correct to the penny! :)
They probably have done the TR1, but Tek hasn’t processed them. The major shareholder I know sent one to them end of July, but still not processed despite 5-6 emails + 2 phone messages chasing– they take comfort that the FCA has acknowledged it within hours and they have a paper trail proving an effort has been made!
Found this which is vaguely interesting and passes the time. This one’s a month old…I can’t remember seeing it, but perhaps as my memory maybe failing, it has already been posted? Not sure…50/50 and on the fence as there was something on the machine a while back, but can’t remember it being so detailed…no doubt somebody will put me right if it’s been posted before!

Perhaps it’s the taker of last placement still clearing out and not in for the long term? As long as they are not clearing the decks for another. Having said this, more recently the funds seem to be raised via Community Crowd funding for each individual company, so hopefully more won’t be necessary.
I’m afraid that’s a little too new for me…still using the old cine projector! … there’s this one I’ve just watched from 2014, when the share price was about the same. Anyway, have to go out shopping now, behave yourselves in my absence! :)
