I think the drag on this is funding for P3. I think if we get news of a partner then the anchor goes up. A disappointing day though I am extremely glad we got a great RNS, could you imagine if it had been bad....

Agree, if its bad news then why release a rns. Its primed to land on the first trading day of the week with major anticipation built on both sides of the pond per RNS on Friday....im expecting big news!

The conference call is normal for vrp, they always do this after results so not to worried about that!

My gut feeling is very good news, if its not i cannot understand why Verona would go to the bother and expense of releasing a RNS notification of pending news. It doesnt make sense to me, it would of been better to say nothing and let the nuke drop on Monday morning.

Its seems Nasdaq took the RNS as a positive sign...nervous times

Hi Chester, I agree with everything you have said and i am defo bullish but as you know this is not a share for orphans and widows, extremely high risk. The appointment this week is a good indicator and the constant success of the compound in trials is pointing towards positive news. We will all know now soon enough the outcome, Monday is either going to be mega or a car crash!

Monday is make or break time! Positive results then full steam ahead. If results do not meet endpoints then we all know what happens next! Don't even want to contemplate that...

I haven't saw this before during all of my many many years invested here. We are looking at Mega Monday if the rns announces positive news which by the look of things could be the case. The sp at the mo is dreadful and way way undervalued, the price here imo should be significantly higher due to the fact the compound works for copd and its safety profile to date is excellent. As we move to P3 this year a partner is what is needed to push this though....lets wait and see but i am feeling extremely bullish.

Fridays trade action will be interesting in US if no RNS lands this week. Will we see another spike in anticipation of possible news next week. As ever the optimist i am hoping for good results, I think all us LTH's deserve some decent news and a decent return on our investment going into this new decade, may the 20's be roaring for us!

Hi Chester, as usual it will be played up and down by day traders, some will make a few quid and some will be caught off side and get stung if a positive RNS lands, such is aim. I would imagine a recovery on Nasdaq today and the price going green by the close of play.

Nasdaq will lead the way here irrelevant of the sells in aim...

Thanks Rhodi....my feeling is that the RNS will land later this week or next, good start this morning. Sp is retaking back old ground from the start of 2019. Sp still abysmal though, will get more excited if the sp pushes past 1.50 to 2.00 over the coming days which is imo feasible due to the importance of these results and the market re copd, asthma and cf.

My feeling is the week beginning 6th Jan for news!

A spike to £1.02 today was not sustainable on one days trading and no news, though well over £1.00 is were we should be anyway so i am not too excited as a LTH yet as I have seen this all before. If this starts moving up past £1.50 ( remember what this was in old money! ) in a steady fashion then that would be good starting point. The soon to be released RNS will be value enhancing in many ways if positive...

As i have mentioned this should really be at 1.50 before news!

£1.00 before RNS is more than realistic if it lands later next week or beginning of the next, over a quid is where this should be anyway. This RNS is crucial and pivotal for us...on positive news this will fly...
